Could also just be a bargaining chip. Most of the "legal"states are also sanctuary states... could be setting up to give a choice... keep your citizen stoners, and loose the boarder jumpers... or loose both.

I've grown illegal, and legal. I don't want cannabis legal, I want it decriminalized. Legalization brings legislation, laws, fines and taxs.
I haven't needed anyone to "regulate" my use and growing for almost 30 years... make it functional AND benificial, and we (the collective) will happily participate. Otherwise I'll stay in the shadows and do my thing. I have no use for government over reaching greedy hands.

The one bonus of living in a legal state is that I CAN grow under the guise of "plant count", but I don't believe or, should say, hope, they don't Institute some sort of archaic or bellicose method of enforcement.. I stopped using carbon scrubbers about 7 months ago to save on money and realized my house always smells like weed due to the consumption.. Sessions is an old turd and needs to go to make way for a progressive approach to this whole "war on drugs".. I still feel for you guys in covert or clandestine grows in not-so-legal places.. Keep fighting the good fight!!!!

I saw a couple interviews today where legal-state reps and senators said they would fight it and I imagine it could hurt revenue..

Just the rumor is bad for the new businesses, it'll be good if their states are supportive
