The lakes and creeks are about 1hr away. But there are some stock ponds that are spread around as there are free range cattle that roam around.

Nope not 600ft. Ours is down about 150ft. It's on the newer flex pipe so it's run over a pully system. Hook up the cable to the truck and it pulls right out.
