The bluple unit that came with my cab looks like a marshydro reflector cept mine is 5w diodes x 96 or 480w. Guessing 250-300w coming from the wall. An ok light but the Amare seems to be better in flower and for yields overall.
Is that a MarsHydro 400? That's what I'm using until I can upgrade!
Some of the marshydro series seem to have questionable reliability. Seems like @Itisi repairing one of his on a regular basis, but I haven't heard anything negative about the reflector series. How about you @Wile e Peyote

My reflector series Is 2 years old ad not missed a beat.
The series 2 5watt diodes are a pile of crap. I've got two of those and they eat led's and zeners. The 3 watt diodes are a bit more forgiving if the plants get to close aswell.

My 2X 5w bulb 300w did really well until I got busted, (2 grows), and the fuzz got them. I got the 400w afterwards and it does ok in my 32x32 inch shower, but I wish my buds were more dense. I was considering converting it over to 3 or maybe 4 cob lights, (4 may be wishful thinking), if/when it goes bad. In the meantime, I'm trying to get the cash together to expand my grow area, (just need to put some anchors in the ceiling and hang the lights). I'm trying to decide between Timber and BigSmo. Anywho,that's my goal for this year....to double my growing area!

If you have a mars doner light, why not try a growmau5 conversion?
