Hi AFN.

My name is Hippy and this is my journal for my first ever Dutch Passion grow! :woohoo: :woohoo1: :vibe:

Thank you so much @DutchPassionTony for giving me the opportunity to grow these awesome Dutch Passion AOB tester beans! :worship: :vibe:

I am really into low energy, minimal water, planet loving grows, and have also recently changed over to organics with the use of the full Biotabs range and lots of help from our good friend @Biotabs F69! :bighug: :d5: Unfortunately this was planted before my Biotabs arrived, so I'll use mainly chem nutes for the last time!

I'm uk based and grow in a tent in the bedroom.

Tent: 3ft x 3ft DS90.

Lights: 200w DIY cob light. 4 x 50w Citizen CLU048 1212 on a frame. Shared with 4 other plants. Running 200w for 18 hours a day and about 50w for 6 hours a day so I can sleep. Cobs have been kept at around 2 feet above the plants for this grow (moved every couple of days). usually I start at around 40 inches (3.5 ft) above seedlings and never move the light, so will be interesting to see the difference.

Soil/pots: AOB is in a 10 litre Airpot with Biobizz Lightmix and added perlite (around 25% maybe).

Nutrients: Bit of a hybrid. Will be using some left over AN nutes and some Biotabs products together: Boom Boom spray will be used fairly aggressively during the vegetative stage.

Music: Decent sound system pumping out positive vibrations, mainly in the form of 80s reggae :jointman:

Extraction: Passive only. Tent flaps open and door part open. 2 x small fans inside for circulation and directing air up and out of the tent.

Heat: 2 foot tube heater directly under the pot to keep the root zone in the ideal temperature range for the Biotabs bacteria and micro beasties to do their organic thing :muahaha:

That's about it folks. Any questions/advice/criticism (constructive if possible!!) is always MOST WELCOME :welcome:

Photos to follow.

Thanks again @DutchPassionTony and @Biotabs F69 for making this grow possible! I should also add that I am completely broke, and without the help of these two lovely gentlemen this grow would not exist!! :bighug: :d5: :woohoo1: :vibe:

My precious :)

She was looking a bit funky to start with so I planted another just in case. However the first one turned herself around so she's the keeper.

Day 18 for my little Dutch Passion Auto Orange Bud and today she is at the hair dressers :crying:

Pony tail for about half the day, and regular sprays of Biotabs Boom Boom Spray to the small shoots underneath, to get them excited and reaching for the cobs! :woohoo1: :vibe:

This seems to work a treat.

Nice growing hippy71. I sub up here and will fallow the progress. Your girl looks like a fresh, tasty sallad with that water sprayed on her. Interested to learn more about ponytailing, looks like a good way to get light to the lower growth.
