hey yall! Im excited for my first battle, with all new grow medium grow area no nutes .... no till baby! I started 5 in my shed in a no till 100 gallon bed with all nutes sourced from homemade stuff, Amazon, build a soil and @KIS organics. Trying out direct seed. Hopefully goes well as they are in an open air shed with no glass in the windows in 40 degree Colorado snowy-ish weather right now. I got heaters pointed at the soil and am keeping at 71 in the grow area. Mephisto ghost toof, sweet n sour, fugue state, and creme de la chem

Bubba Kush was sad and dampening a little after not knowing if General Battle was on?

After knowing she belongs to a battle now, she is bucking up! Granted, she has lost a few days of growth and has not shaken off the purple stem as of now, things do look good. At day 8, she is considered pretty small but I like her resilience!

Had to move my girlies! I didnt realize till today that osb board has formaldehyde and other crap in it so i had to move my plants

into a big bed jr 15 gallon and a 30 gallon smart pot. I wasnt sure if i had to update or let yall know.​

Hey Archie, it's still May 1 where I am. Here is my germ pic. Can I get in the General Battle? Don't worry. It's a smaller plant this time! Everyone has a shot.

Day 7

The roots of both plants are safely in the water, so they should take off now. Temps in the cabinet is averaging over 90 degrees, but it will only get worse. I need them to continue to adapt.

Week 3 update

Well, I definitely have two phenols of the special pheno, if that is possible. One plant is growing so vigorously, it is just as developed as my Dutch Passion ANQ and Glueberry grows through Day 15. The other is short, compact and bushy as hell. I don't even know how to approach LST with her. Anyway, lots of leaves growing everyday. Can't wait until they become buds. I just don't find the leafy part of the grow to be as interesting. Ha! So far so good though.

I select the taller Blue Toof special pheno for the battles! She is at the front of the cabinet. Let's hope she grows out as I think she will. I want that

Blue Toof Special Pheno

She is recovering from a major defoliation nicely. Started my flower lights, including a small UVB light for an hour per day, I will increase slowly over the weeks. So far, so good, though.

The battle plant is doing well. Going through the stretch and starting to stack her buds. I applied some stem trainers to open her up a bit more.

So far so good. Right in the middle of flowering phase, so hoping for more stacking and fattening of those buds. Nice sweet overripe berry aroma. Frost is looking great also. I think I want to smoke this!

About two weeks to go, so timing is perfect. Hoping for two more weeks of cola fattening for this girl.

Week 12 Update General Battle

Day 75 for this Blue Toof Special Pheno. She has about a week to go, so perfect timing for final pics next week. I am happy with how she is finishing. Really has been packing on the weight these last two weeks.

I have to post my final pic, since I am going away from the week tomorrow. She is still about a week away from being ready to harvest.

General Battle Week 1 update. All plants popped up last night and this morning so I'm considering Sunday as my day 1 and will post all my updates on Sunday for this battle

Girls all seem to be happy and loving life under the new light, also I can't help my self. Shout out to the light and first time I've had a proper environment.

General Battle Week 2 update. Day 7 for the girls. Amnesia and Bubble Kush are in the lead and have a bit more height to them. Jack and the Compassion are staying close to the ground. 60%RH, 22°C, 270w of LED's shining down. Thinking about fiming the Bubble Kush and maybe the Amnesia this grow, anyone willing to fill me in on when is a good time to do it? Fed 2ml/L of GO calmag, didn't PH and split the liter up among the 4 plants.

General Battle Week 3 update, Day 14 for the girls. Had some difficulties this week with light stress, I really underestimated the power of these led's. Turned light down from 270 watts to 180 and seen an immediate improvement. The Compassion Lime has really punished me which is a shame because I enjoy the CBD strains the most. The RQS Bubble Kush is in the lead and will most likely be my battle plant. It is growing strong and takes the punishment, this is my second grow with this strain and the first time was equally as impressive. So the Bubble Kush got fimmed today and the others are being left alone for now. When I water them they are getting 2ml/l GO Cal-Mag, not checking PH this grow to see if GO's claim that you don't need to PH their nutrients is true. The Critical Jack Herer may get fimmed later this week if it continues to improve. The Amnesia and Compassion are just going to be left to grow with at most some leaf tucking.

Week 4 update, 21 days old. The Bubble Kush showed sex early last week and has began her stretch. I tried fimming at 14 days though unsure if it worked, might just go with a top next time. The Critical Jack Herer has really caught up and has some real nice razor blade leaves. The Compassion Lime has started to put on some size but is still a mini bush, I'm really hoping for a good stretch, not doing anything to her to encourage her to get those roots down and grow. The Amnesia has a real nice structure and is quite the bush as well, first signs of sex a couple days ago so interested to see how she stretches.

Critical Jack Herer Compassion Lime

General battle. Week 5 update day 28 for the girls. The bubble Kush is my chosen battle plant, the compassion lime and amnesia are staying as short little bushes and the critical jack has yet to show sex so to risky to run that one. Things are going well, tried to increase the power of the led's from 180 watts to 200 over the course of the week and got punished. Purple stems and droopy leaves. Got it back down to 180 watts and everyone is praying again. At what point in flower do you LED folks increase your lights output?

General Battle Week 6 update. RQS Bubble Kush 35 days above ground. All is well just working on increasing the wattage in the grow space.

Fertigation has started and will be run intermittently based on hefting the Hugo Cubes. I am running GreenLeaf MegaCrop 2.0 with supplemental additions of NPK industries RAW products. Week 2 nutes.
