Day 1 for 14/16
Figured I’d start today off as day one. Will be easier to update on a Monday. So far I’ve just presoaked the soil with a myco/carbohydrate water. Popped beans in paper towel. Planted when taproots were 1/4 inch long. It’s been about a day and a half. And all have broke the surface. 2 are waiting to pop the shell. Just going to mist here and there until roots develop. so far so good.

Week 3
Made it another week with the last full watering. 5 days after I watered they still had some weight, but the top was getting dry pretty deep. So I gave them about 40 ozs of spring water. Today they were ready for a full watering. I’m sure the soil still has plenty of nutes. But I know there’s going to be some crazy growth over the next 2-3 weeks. So I gave them a 1/4 strength dose of advanced nutrients micro grow and bloom. 4ml of each per gallon. 0.5 ml of olympus up to bring ph to 6.5. Didn’t check ppms today but should be around 400. Just enough to make sure they’ve got everything they need for this week and to get them used to bottled nutes. I’ll try to make it another week before I fully water again. I’ll give them a sip in 4-5 days to get them to Sunday. Next full watering will be cal/mag with the same dose of advanced nutes. After week 4 I’ll have to start doing full waters more often. But I love how maintenance free these things are when planted in presoaked 5 gallon pots. I’ll post better pics next week. Been swamped at work and didn’t have time to take proper photos.

Week 4
Made it another week. Gave them a sip halfway through this week(40oz spring water) I’m expecting their thirst to pick up soon. Today I gave them another feed. 3ml of cal/mag with 8ml of AN ph perfect M-G-B. Ph’d to 6.5. I’ll watch for tip burn. I didn’t notice any with the 1/4 strength dose I gave last week. This feed was 1/2 strength. I’m trying to feed once a week and use distilled water with silicate and cal/mag in between. I’m already seeing a color change in one of the bloody skunks. Can’t wait to see these finish.

End of week 7
Seems I got a little to generous with nutrients. Run off ppms were high and ph was low. Ive been trying different feeding schedules to find one that i can keep up with. I’ve been feeding once a week since week 3. Started at 1/4 strength and increased by a 1/4 each week. Last feed was full strength advanced nutrients ph perfect base(16ml of each per gallon) raised ph back up from 5.5 to 6.5. Gave 1 gallon each on Sunday. 48 hrs later I noticed some brown tips on leaves and some brown spotting. Gave each 1.5 gallon of 6.5 ph distilled water and tested ppms and ph of run off(high ppms low ph) My plan is to skip the feed this week and instead run another 1.5 gallons of plain water, test runnoff, and see if the ppms are dropping into a safer range. I usually aim for 1000 ppms and 6.3-6.8 ph. I might lose a couple if they don’t get better by Sunday. Can’t risk any hermis. there are some really nice plants that didn’t get bad nute burn. The bloody skunks are the nicest looking and smelling bud I’ve grown yet and I don’t want to end up with seeds.

Should be up and running next weekend. Waiting on a few things I ordered. I'm going to start 18 and weed some out as I need to. Running a growcraft x6 600 for one 5x5 and the other space is covered by 2 ts1000s and 2 264watt purples. I have 2 more ts1000s I can use but I had good luck mixing QB and blurples so im going to try again. I'll presoak 5gal fabric pots filled with happyfrog in a simple aerated tea(castings, great white myco, unsulfured molasses, brewed for 24-72hrs). I'll soak seeds in paper towel the day I presoak the soil. In 48-72 hrs later the pots will be dried out a little and be perfect for seedlings. I'll mist them after planting and a few times a day until they take root. I'll update when first leaves appear for day 1 and update weekly. I've got a nice lineup of red poison, purple punch, crystal candy xl, and possibly amnesia express or a seedsman 420 Ltd edition critical kush or NYC diesel.

Worm tea
Started the tea today. It consists of 3 cups of wiggle worm castings in a large tea bag,a shot glass of unsulfered molasses, 2 tsps of great white myco, and 5 gal of R/o water. Im using a high flow air pump(750-950) and four 3 inch air stones for aeration. I'll let it brew for 2-3 days. I'll mix it with 8 more gal of r/o and presoak 18 five gal fabric pots of happy frog soil.
