Lighting Help needed with led

hi Afn,I've been reading up on purchasing a led system.alit of what I've read has confused me lol.at the moment,I'm using a 600watt hid bulb under a metre2 parabolic shade.i grow in a 1.2X1.2X1.8m2 tent,or 4ft square in old money.i normally only grow around 4 plants at a time,in 11 litre pots.
Now is there anyone who could recommend a decent led set-up to give me total coverage of my tent?
The led system needs to be on par with my 600watt bulb,I've read that these leds give denser buds, and better trich production that hid bulbs...with the electric consumption way lower than a hid bulb.
Sorry for all the questions, but it looks like a lot of you guys rocking these led systems have got it nailed.
Cheers :pass:
If it's in your budget and your not a DIY person, you should really take a look at the Amare SE450. Link in my signature.... lots of folks are rocking the Amare's on here. the power of the cob is real

Yeah that might help a little bit eh lol
Amazon product ASIN B01FNY2Y7Y
I don't see that light being able to cover a 4 x 4, no way...
I have grown a lot with these cheaper LED's 3 and 5 watt chips units They will grow you flowers and some nice ones especially when the light is new, but they don't compare to the white light of the cob.

It is for a lot of peeps, initial costs sucks. With AFN discount goes for around 900. Pays for itself quite fast thou.
Are you into making things yourself, there is a DIY section on here. I built a 300 watt cob light that's rocking a 4 x 4 for under 400. There's a huge difference in 300 watts of plurple Led's and 300 watts of cobs. Lots more light...way more efficient.
I'd get at least two plurple 300-600 watt led lights for a 4 x 4 for best growth and production. I used two Mars 600's, 280 watt draw in a 4 x 4 and it worked pretty good.

I'm not good with electrics,so would t have a clue how to build my own?? I dont even know the difference between cobs and crees?? It would be so much easier if I could just buy an led reflector that matches or betters the bulb I'm using...I've tried looking at the grownorthern leds...but I have t got a clue about them.all I'm looking at is the wattage lower than my hps bulb but does it match the 600 watts of power it gives to the plants.sorry for me a total led noob lol.

watt for watt usage cob LED's are so much better. HID's are in the 20's% efficient cobs can get over 50% efficient giving you lots more light for less.
Check out Mars Hydro LED's on here. I know they have a solution for you. Their lights are on par with HPS in the efficiency department. They do make some nice flowers.
