Well it just so happens one is on the way to mi casa amigo. With a 1050ma driver on those cobs you will have 100% doubled the usable light and cut the heat in half at the same wattage.
Anyways yeah these cobs are very intense. Cree, citizen, and vero are on to something revolutionary in grow lighting and all 3 are competing for the next best thing.
Got it from Arrow. Northern grow lights had a linkWhere did you get it from? How much was it? Is it a hlg185? It's good for 3 of those clu's. I'm going to pick up one for my 3590's and use my current 1400ma for my 72v cobs. Telling you this stuff is addicting.

This is the k5-750 oh boy oh boy @BigSm0
As the ceo of Cree buys his 5th lambo this year wondering why cob sales have gone through the roof. The interesting thing to me is that as just a Joe Consumer, it doesn't even really look like Cree or any of them are even targeting growers. More like they are just trying to make the most efficient COB lighting that folks can use in whatever application they want. Heck, after my build if I was doing something like refinishing a kitchen or bathroom I'd be thinking COB in recessed fictures for under counter or light bar type lighting. Imagine how well they could do if they DID target growing a bit more. Maybe not going so far as to target spectrum all the way to making plurple light COB's, but even just adding in a little UV and/or IR wavelengths to something like 3500K and other popular spectrums.![]()
