To bad you didn't take any lux readings from one of those cheap phone apps. Would have been interesting to see the difference.

I'm going to order that wire on Amazon with the paste and I'll probably pick up the connectors at the Depot.

I think any lux meter app would work. It's a good tool for setting up lights and plants. Can also check light reflectivity on walls to move plants around a little better

those drivers won't run the Citizen CLU048 1812, it is a 50v chip. Thw CLU042 1212 will work as will most Cree 36V cobs

Looks like it says 30-46v each drive and 650ma? That should run 1 clu048 each driver.

I think the 650ma will drop the voltage also but increases efficiency . Or am I total going in the wrong direction with my thinking ? It's all new to me so bare with me. By the way the (lux) luminosity was @4600-4800 @18in with my little bootleg app. I will use the same app after the upgrade.

You know what I should probably test the light I'm actually modifying in case there's any major discrepancies between the two. I guess I'll have to put it back together.
