Alright I just pulled the trigger on a new MarsII 700. This will be my first attempt at trying to grow indoors. Can't wait to give this a shot. Paying for me and my families medicine has gotten expensive. Hoping this will save me money in the long run.

Ah Tina Tina Tina my lady! How are you doing today? I as well would like to thank you and your company for the very generous Christmas gift for December's competition. That is awesome! Would just like to let you know I planted my beans in my soil less than 12 hours ago under that beautiful new light! Can't wait to see what pops up. I do have one complaint about the light though tina......

That dang thing is so bright I had to buy some sunglasses from the grow shop to work in my grow area haha thanks again and good luck to all those who get in this month's bom/pom

I hope you enjoy the first indoor grow. I'm sure you will like the LED, I have 3 300w Mars LED's in my tent now and can't imagine doing it any differently. Although I would love to grow outside, indoors is the only viable option. Just keep in mind that utilizing LED's as your light source will result in increased need for CaMg supplements during the grow. I feed at 150% to 200% of recommended on CaMg and have never had a problem that I am aware of.
And yes you should save money as well. If I tally all expenditures this year, equipment, soils and ferts, seeds, etc.... I am somewhere just over a grand. My wife has had meds for her chemo issues all year, and we are stockpiling for a RSO run, and have not needed to purchase externally at all. Well worth the effort and minimal time spent and the quality control is completely in your hands.

Probabely yes, coz growing under LEDs, plants needs only more cal and mag, and other nutrients need less. This is from most of the growers' feedbacks. But I would say, listen to more growers' advices before you take any action.

The question of whether you can get 2 plants into a 2x2 tent has a ton of variables to get to a correct answer. I am just completing a 4 strain 9 plant grow in a 4x4 tent. So 2 plants should be a piece of cake. Genetics are the first consideration. Indicas typically are shorter and bushier and can be kept manageable in smaller pots. I have been using like 1 1/2 gal size pots and that has allowed me to have multiple plant grows and experience many strains in a shorter time span. I just finished ET Dragon, Afghan Kush Rider, Girl Scout Cookies and an El Alquimista. I now have ET Dragons x3, OO seeds Cheeseberry auto x2, Vision seeds Blueberry Bliss, Delicious seeds Narco Purps x1 and Terrestrial Bean Co's Terrestrial Cheese x2. Two should be simple if you match the Pot size and the strain to maximize the space.
