But my second Mephisto Sour Stomper grow. Here's a link to the first one which was done with 3 Mars hydro 400 panels drawing about 190 watts each for a total of 570 wattshttps://www.autoflower.org/threads/pipes-organic-sour-stomper-grow.54320/. This grow I'm using my cob build which is 4 citi 1818"s drawing 60 watts each for a total of 240 watts. Everything else is about the same-might be a little better dealing with the cal/mag issues tho. Both grows are Sour Stompers and the beans came from the same bean order. BTW if you haven't done Sour Stompers you should really put them on your bucket list. Super sticky great smelling buds. The girls popped their heads above the compost this morning March 20-day one. 240 watts of cob's vs 570 watts Mars Hydro. if i got that right, you connected the COB's in a parallel connection right? if yes, i just want to say be careful, if one of the COB stops for whatever reason the other COB gets the full current and might get overheated.

I THINK that's wired in series mate? If I really squint at the black and red wires in the pic I think they are sort of going diagonally across the frame from one cob to the next. Which I think means series.
Most definitely worth triple checking though as nobody wants pinging cobs
Sorry for no updates or replies but I had both a camera issue and a computer issue both of which has been taken care of. My cobs are wired in parallel. I'll do an update on Sunday. Pipes

I'm sure he did understand before he built them Sir Smo. I just mean I can only just see in the photo. I don't think there was any finger crossing thankfully

If you take a look at the drivers he can't run 4 COBs in series with then, thats what made me to take some time and just write it caus nobody said anything. Best case nothing happens but worst case could end in 2 burned COBs. In series the complete light just shuts down and stops working until the problem of the circuit is solved.
Well its time for an update finally huh! It's day 13 and if you check my previous Sour Stomper grow on day 13 you can see that the led panel grow is clearly ahead of my cob grow on day 13. I can't blame this on the lights because I think a Grow Room Operator Error may have come into play here. I live in the northern hemisphere-cold-actually could be considered the arm pit of the universe. My bagged compost is stored in a cold basement on a cold concrete floor and in my haste to get this cob grow going I mixed up my cold compost and pre-watered it with the cold solution that I always use and promptly placed my sprouted beans into this cold environment. I broke one of my cardinal rules-I have always acclimatized all of my soil and watering solutions prior to use. Not this time though. So my girls got off to a slow start and I probably lost at least 3-4 days worth of growth. Its the little things that make a difference. But since everything started to warm up the plants are perking up considerably. One of the plants is a little runty but you can have that on any grow. Anyhow here they are and thanks for checking in Pipes
