I did lose at least 3-4 days of growth. I know that but it was my bad. They're taking off now and really doing nicely. If I do my updates on Sundays then I'll be on the same day count as I was with my first Sour Stomper grow. This grow is all about light comparisons. Everything else between the 2 grows is the same except for the cal/mag. I used an organic cal/mag on the first grow and now I'm using a synthetic version so I can't claim an organic grow. Anyhow thanks for your interest. Pipes
It's time for my weekly update on my cob vs my led panel grow. Its day 20. In my led panel Sour Stomper grow I have a 21 day update and as I've stated before both grows are being treated pretty much the same. My cob plants are now coming along nicely very nice as a matter of fact. Even with the slow start my cob grow got I believe its at least on par with the led panel grow and maybe even a little better and doing so by drawing 330 watts less electricity. Right now I'm very happy with my cob set up but I have plans on modifying it for my next grow. If your thinking about going the cob route I'd say go for it because they seem to seem work! anyhow here's my 3 plants on day 20. Pipes
A comparative? This will be interesting to see the cobs harvest smash the last. Even IF the plants under cobs were the same size, I would bet the weight would be much more. Looking good so far Pipes!

Hey Thanks Yeatster. I posted a link to my first Sour Stomper grow in my first post in this thread. Absolutely excellent pot! Even if they equal the yield that I got on my first grow by using less than half the electricity I'll be happy. Plants are doing good! Thanks! Pipes
I suppose it's time for an update since I haven't done one for a while. It's day 41. Actually this is turning out to be a pretty decent grow for me. All 3 plants are healthy with no deficiencies noticed or any other adverse conditions that I see and all of them are now bigger then the SS"s I grew with the led panels. One plant has some light stress on its upper leaves. It started as my fastest grower and got a little close to the lights resulting in some twisted leaves. The leaves straightened out when the lights were raised but left some yellow patches behind. This plant is now my smallest and the earliest to stop stretching but is a head in bud development. The runt that I mentioned in an earlier thread is now my biggest plant but is the furtherest behind in bud development but it has a lot of them. Never give up on the runts. It just may be my highest yielder here. The other plant just falls in-between. They range in size from 27 to 31 inches above the compost. The buds are frosting up really well and have the great Sour Stomper smell. I'm using 4 Citi 1818 3500K 90 cri cobs and one thing I've noticed is that they seem to have really good light penetration. So far I'm really happy with this cob set-up and I'll never go back to led panels again. If anything I may try to improve upon my lighting system for my next grow. These cob's do work! Anyhow here's the pics-not the greatest but I'll post some better ones later on.Pipes
