Day 48 and the plants are doing fine. A little cal mag but hopefully that's under control. Cobs are doing their job. Very happy so far. 3 wks to go.Pipes
Man, there looking super frosty already! Is that the norm for those? Loud Pipes, I wanna ask for future ref., what distance you got the lights from the Girls right now? Nice grow you got goin Brotha!
Hey thanks TD. Sour Stomper is a super frosty variety and if you think they look frosty in the pics taken yesterday you should see them now. Its frost on frost. This is a comparison grow of the same variety under different lights. I posted a link to my first grow of SS in my first post in this thread which was under led panels. Sour Stomper has all the attributes that I like-great trich development, very sticky and a great strong smell. Its a favorite around here. My plants right now measure from 28" to 32" above the compost and tonight when I got home from work I noticed some tacoing on some leaves on one plant so I raised the lights another inch. Right now the lights are 12" above the tallest plant. I try to keep the lights as close as I can so the lower parts get enough light. When they were younger the lights were 20 some inches above the plants. No heat problems. I'm hooked on cobs. They work! Hopefully before I start my next grow I'll have my existing light setup modified with 2 more cobs and better light coverage. Anyhow thanks againPipes
Hey thanks for the info Pipes! Iv'e been kinda askin around for distances kept with the 1818's, to get a good idea for a staring point. Then I'll keep an eye on the leaves as you are. Really think there will be SS in my next Bean order for sure, there is just to many good meds. out there to choose from ya know? Your gonna have some PLUMPFROSTY Ladies dude...Beauties already!
Thanks Nugs. This has been a pretty nice grow. Another advantage of the cobs is that I have absolutely no heat issues that normally I would be dealing with this time of year. Pipes
