Lighting My T-5 HO Dealings

Yup got 2 sets of four bulbs(8 total) of bloom spectrum. This was one purchase I was able to aquire some help on which is kinda a big deal man!!Most of my bulbs are lacking and running hot so after this grow most(not all)of my bulbs are going to use as a backup in case a blow out occurs in the future but Im able to switch ALL my bulbs out and play with Spectrums this winter AWESOME!!! Thanks man!!Honest, Id be stressed heavy if it wasnt fer sum help.:pighug::pass: so both of my 2ft will be changed and my 4ft panel too. sweeeet!!bloom and grow specs, both!

16 blubs total!!Gonna try n get one more pack so I can stay more on the bloom side of things with a small bit of grow specs MAN Im stoked to see this go too

Well Im finally gonna take the plunge n go with my bulb swap.since Ive never really done this before as far as spectrum mixing,do ya have any recommendations anyone,if I should use a(2 total in a total of 8 bulbs) single tube on either side for grow and the rest bloom?Seems to make the most sense at this point but without having dealings and having plants at various stages atm LMAO is why Im not going with a 4:4 mix till flower goes full swing.anywho.thanks for any comments.

and do ya'll know if how much distance is until really retracts from using separate specs??until they are void ?just as ya would a Veg i suppose...Pull it up n swap em n sit it down on em.sounds like a winner..LOL!:pass:

Your plan sounds fine.
You can go mostly red all the way through flower if you have to.
And once you have more in flower than not, go ahead with your 4/4 mix.
I have found the most important thing with T5's is not to let them get old.
You will have sub-par performance long before the light burns out.
So if you like to mix them up, mark them some how and keep up with them, once you have reached about 60% of the hours they are rated for, replace them.
Otherwise, it can definitely affect your yield and plant vigor and it happens so slowly you may not realize it until your plants have suffered.

Just Google Gleissman t5 bulbs or ATI t5 bulbs.
Gleissman has a pretty informative website,
Can't remember what ATI site is like.
When you shop them, really look around, prices range from "anh" to "give us your damned leg"
I have tried aquarium lights like the aqua med flora sun and wave point ultra growth wave but did not find them to be worth the extra cost. a standard 6000K/3000k mix provided the same yield. and longer bulb life. this test was done on photos so I don't know it performance would be different with autos or a different strain

a good inexpensive source for high quality commercial bulbs is 1000 bulbs https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/4948/FHO-24T5865F.html they are shipped well packaged.I have never received a broken bulb from them and they are a lot cheaper than "grow bulbs" which are the same thing in a different package. same SPD and output just packaged for commercial use instead of specialty shop sale I replace my bulbs once a year and monitor them with a light meter

Finally Changed my Bulbs

Well I finally got around to swapping my ole busted bloom bulbs that were cheap Argobright ones. And now I got Apollo Bllom across the whole large panel and a mix from grow AND bloom on the smaller 2 ,2ft panels I have. Also ill be using 2 125W side lighting once they get a lil bigger too.

Thank you brother for your help with my Lights!!Ment the world to me to not have to ask for yet another thing that I cant afford that me moms helps me with.Thank you !!:pighug:

That is one nice bank of t5"s. the fixture itself looks like one of those high end German reflector units I have a homemade t5 8 bank i need new bulbs to. Apollo eh they are superior to other bulbs I bet you notice a bid difference. Is that your main lighting system E.O.F. if so you can rock them

Thanks man! eh its just a 180 buck er so 4 foot panel T5 HO from Hydrofarm.I keep it clean every grow I take it down n wipe it down n polish the reflectors up some as well.Yeah brother, that the only lighting I own.I have a four foot panel and two 2ft panels.along with 2 125W CFL's too that I dont use often really.but that it.mostly my 4ft is what I use to be honest as my main ,yeah.and thank you kindly.one adapts to whatcha gotta do if its all ya got.LOL!gotta get as much as i know how to get from that light.LOL!I can do a pound easy with the right genetics.prolly upwards of 1/5 Elbows too with decent side lighting, but I dont go through all that trouble LOL!backs all jacked up lol.:Hookah::Sharing One:"AFN smoke out"

DAMN LMAO I of course forgot ALL about this thread.LOL anywho was just poking around and have done these under T5 so far. anda few in flower too all the way through with 65K veg bulbs.imo it gives better flowers and yields a lil more and make generally for tighter buds.
