Live Stoner Chat New grow..can't decide on led

Hey afn.. I'm ready to go all the way this time..
Last 6 attempt at growing northern lights auto failed miserably..
My first attempt at doing dwc bucket this time..(canna nutes light feeding)
My last seed was in 1''rock wool for 20 days before showing roots
I put her in the bucket around day 18.. Today is day 30
Right now I'm using 2ft 4 tube t5's but wanting to upgrade..
Grow space is about 2.5'x3'x5' bathroom closet (gets humid)
I plan on adding a carbon filter and ventilation in a few more weeks..
My budget is $300 and I'm not sure if I should get a good 150watt or a cheap 300 or 600 watt
Any suggestions are welcome and thank you in advance

I'd go good and cheap w/ 2 Mars 300 watt ... should be in budget ... only 1 now if there's only 1 plant ...

Thanks Chester.. That's what I was thinking.. 2 smaller ones instead of 1 large one.
I do germinate and veg a lot of my outdoor garden in there too..
If there's any free space or light in there I try to use it.. I don't want to waste any.

For sure they do! I have a mars 100X3w and a galaxy hydro 100X3w and both lights grow excellent plants. My last round I pulled 6 oz dry off of 3 autos, even with some errors.

Hows the heat from both im in limbo atm man im a old hps grower and like the sound of mephistos under led as a year round thing and still do the odd outdoor as well.. but my concerns are i dont wanna have crazy fans and bits and pieces hanging off the tent id rather it super simple.. led 24/0 tiny tent smalls fans and organic soil on blumats.. simple but automated too! Need to put pen to paper one day but that looks like a damn dank plant! I was a cheap chinese led sucker who doesnt wanna get burnt again hehe thanks for ur time id like to keep wattage to a bare min too

You are going to like this. I decided go out on a limb and try a microgrow using a stealth cabinet that is very limited in vertical space(only 34" from top of pots to light surface) using LED's. Heat was easy to control with the pair of lights(6" intake fan, with only a pair of crappy PC fans rigged for exhausting the heat). I decided to completely fill the space with light so I added another 100X3w galaxy, and heat was a little too much so I added another 6" fan and its perfect again sitting at 82.

Yeah I just microgrow in the winter for fun and to try out some autos that interest me. Make sure you check out the microgrow category as well...it was because of those guys that I decided to try with the limited vertical space.
