Hey everyone!

Just started germinating 6 Mephisto seeds. They will be going into autopots with kind soil on the bottom topped with coco loco. This will be my first autoflower, autopot and kind soil grow. Should be interesting haha.

Any suggestions with this combo?

@Jkaufm32 Welcome to AFN. To get someone’s attention put the at-mark @ in front of their AFN name like I did for you.

I was an organic soil guy before it was a thing. The best product I ever grew was in living organic soil. I have a bad back now and just cannot lift a pot of soil. So now pumps do all of my heavy lifting. DWC is the second best to good soil IMHO and I would still be growing that way. A problem for me with that is the high summer heat here in the San Joaquin Valley of California; I just cannot keep the reservoir in a good range for oxygenation. So I have moved to drip irrigating rock wool blocks. I have yet to tie my 1.6g/watt DWC record but I am getting close.

I've been using Coco Loco for a few years now and have liked the results. I have their newest coco coming I think today, "Plain Jane Big Boy Pants". I am very curious about it, so decided to buy and try. Good luck with your Mephisto seeds. I hope you grow plants as big as Walnut trees.
