Hi guys,
I'm super comfortable that I can grow pretty much anything now I've got a bit of practice with my DWC setup, but I've come across a bit of a creative block in what to grow next, anyone feel like hitting me up with some fun strains to try!?
I'm not a big fan of piney or skunky/cheesy strains and it has to be feminised and autoflowering. I am a medical user so potency is important.
So far I've done; Think Different, auto blue mazar, headlights kush, la diva and super critical.
Growing in DWC with 2, 400W vipar LED's in a 1m tent.
Hit me up friends!

Welcome friend! It looks like you have a great set up and a good handle on how to make your room preform at optimum levels. Now you are at the point where you can start to make your own. I mean breeding my friend, it is the next evolutinary step in growing. It is what kept my doing this after I got to a point where I was kind of burnt out. You seem to already be on the right track by growing the best genetics on the planet in Dutch Passion.

What I would do is pick a trait that you like the most, like cheesy smell or super high potency or pink pistols and try to breed a strain that exhibits that trait to its maximum capabilties. It is probably the most rewarding thing there is when it comes to growing in my opinion.

I personally am on a mission to try and isolate the pink pistol trait that strains like Red Poision exhibit, making a whole pink family. If you are looking for a strain to fix your itch right now though I would suggest AutoBlueberry from DP. I grew the photo strain for years and it is still the best tasting smoke I have ever had, and from what I have seen those traits have carried over into the auto variety. Hope this helped a little and I am sending mad grow Karama your way

really liking the look of cream mandarine and royal cream from sweet seeds and Royal seeds, thanks HH.

I would love to get into breeding Derek, unfortunately I live in a small shared flat with 1m x 1m to play in, I've actually started learning a degree course through the royal horticultural society so when it does get legalised over here I can jump straight into my dream job. One day I hope to breed my own sticky, fat indica with musky, spicy scents and leaves the size of dinosaur feet!

Lol the Cream Madrine is also a strain that has some phenotypes with pink pistols. I have read wonderful things about the CM, I will be growing it at some point and probably using it as a parent breeding strain.

And yeah you do need a little bit more space to start a full scale breeding project, but you can always use Collidal Silver(or a light stressing technique) and get pollen from one branch of one of your ladies, that way you don't have to get a whole plant with seeds(it's called a seed set) that is how I started breeding with just one plant that I light stressed one branch by covering it everyday with a paper bag. After about 3 weeks, if I remember correctly, the pollen sacks started to form and when they swelled up I cut them out with an exacto knife. I then opened them up and used the pollen on the next plant that I grew by painting the pollen onto the pistols with a smll paint brush, again on just one branch. When I harvested that one budsite had 50 or so seeds, and whalah my first strain that I ever bred. I ended up using those seeds for 3 or so years in different breeding projects.

It really is a fun way to stay excited about growing and if done correctly doesnt have to have a different room for males and mothers and so on. Growing DP genetics for a long time is amazing, but there is nothing like actually Creating your own strain that does not exist anywhere else on earth. Don't let your limited space deter you from looking into it for sure. I know several different growers that have stealth breeding operations and literally have been pumping out amazing top shelf genetics from a PC cabinet(the dude is a straight genius) so I would defintely encourage you to look into breeding on a stealth or small scale. Happy growing and let us know what strain you go with, I really think the Cream Mandirne is the way to go! Sending good grow Karma your way
