Mephisto Genetics Orange Diesel and Blue Microverse

So I have unpacked the scales at long last and got the final weight for SC2.

The second jar was 49.3g.

Bringing the total to 78g. Just shy of 3 zips.

So I now know the benchmark for a natural girl.

I think that is pretty good and well above strain expectations.

She clearly put all her efforts into the main cola.

My ugly duckling, day 97. Plodding onwards.

Sour Crack 1, day 87. As above, plodding towards her demise. Both remain at EC 0.65 @ 5.8.

Sour Crack 3, day 20. EC remains light at 0.3. I tied her down again, not that you can see with her fan leaves. I have 8 working tops currently. 6 of which I have pipe cleaners around.

Sour Crack 4, day 6. Last day of humidity dome and then she will have to fend for herself.

I am somewhat lazy. But in truth, I used to grow hard corals. The hobbies are very similar and I have applied the same approach.

As such, I stay out of the tent as much as possible. Everything is automated. My only job is to refill reservoirs. It keeps the environment very stable.

I check EC and PH daily and pot lift.

I love LST and those weeks we can get down and dirty!

I think breeding may be my next direction.

I toyed with no till soil, but I am a coco addict and love the simplicity and reliability!! Do x see y etc!

Any videos or quality guides you recommend for learning how to LST with autos? Going to be running some Northern cheese haze and trying to read up on it as much as possible before i begin, so as to decide whether i will be able to manage LST, or maybe cause more harm than good and better to just let them grow out naturally?

In fact you have some great before and after LST pictures in this thread which is very helpful. From what i can see, at about day 24-30 (from Mpehisto seed), once the stems can handle the bending, then you want to be gently tying the branches down with plant ties or similar so it looks like you are trying to get them to grow outwards to the sides and ultimately fully open up the middle and top of the plant for light penetration. It looks relatively simple and seems to be a one time thing, but im sure i will find ways to screw it up!

Sour Crack 3, day 19. Training of her new side branches has started.

Plan is to keep her low and encourage a lot of side branching before flower.

Sour Crack 4, day 5.

I am curious as to what you are feeding your plants? 88 days on a Sour Crack is 30 days more than they should go. I would personally chop it down. That is excessively long. Most of the time taste ,Terpenes, and the overall quality will decline a lot of you take them too long. Especially on a fast finisher like Sour Cracks. Good luck, slow

You can tie them down from around day 2.

Sour Crack 3 is being trained this way. I am trying to encourage side branching without topping with this girl.

The earlier you tie each stem the easier to manipulate the plant.

It is LST that slows them down. I grew Sour Crack 2 natural and she was done in 60 days. That was with a ten day flush.
