no it takes a big rack to get me to have to clean a deer if i need meat a know a couple trigger happy guys that dont mind getting rid of some
got 3 young bucks on cam 100 yards from the porch a tall racked 8pt a 5 pt and a 7 should have been a 9 but missing tines and 1 that i didnt get a good pic of cause the batteries were low and the ir was really dim and just aenough to see horns but theres been a buck 8-9pt that has a 3rd horn in the center of it forehead sightedjust up the mountain id love to get a pic of him atleast to age him

I'm with you on cleaning them I use to go out and shoot just about anything (I always eat the meat though) but anymore I sit there and start thinking do you really want to gut and clean this dear and I talk myself out of it.
I did have some pretty big bucks coming in my yard and staying on the Mtn side above my house couple more years and they would have been monsters one of them would have scored in the high 160's and he was just a 3 year old. But now I don't ever see them the fucking Elk has them drove out of here so now instead of watching the bucks grow I look out and see a herd of Elk stomping around in my yard. Those bastards sure can tear a garden up in a hurry.
The big Bull is a 7 x 6 and he is a Monster I have put him in my crosshairs several times and thought about just dropping him but I will wait and try to do it the legal way

gun season opens in a week then ill be out activly look for them but chances are if ya dont find one the first day you probly wont get one unless the rut is on hot and heavy

Damn that's a good one any pics. Gun season opened here last week and I don't know about up on your end of the Appalachian Mtn's but down here they are chasing that tail.
Have you ever seen any Mtn. Lion's up your way Sniper? The Game Wardens around here say that there isn't any but I have proof that there is. My lil cousin put his game camera up here above my house (about 100 yards above my back door) to see if those bucks were moving around anytime throughout the day and got some pics of a Mtn. Lion coming threw. And also a big ass boar bear

Damn that buck is a brute. As for the Mountain Lions I know its hard to believe but if people really think about it its not. They brought Elk in here and there isn't but 2 natural predators for them Wolfs and Mountain Lions. So they had to bring something in here to help control them. I never believed it until I saw the pics and went up there and followed the tracks some.
