i use coco. the stuff is notorious for holding onto calcium and magnesium and not letting it be available for uptake. i have to add calmag to every single nutrient solution i mix. i dont think there is any real adverse effect from using calmag from start to flush in a grow even in soil from what i have been reading. the only con is that it is very salty and will raise your PPM up by about 200 or so if you do the recommended 5ml per gallon. if you are not growing in coco i bet you could get away with a 1.5ml supplemental and never have to worry about those sorts of deficiencies through the plants life cycle.
Cheers bro,not sure if I will be running Dragons all the time...nothing wrong with Dragons I just can't take to regular seeds. Got 2 more strains to test for someone (behind closed doors I'm afraid) them I'm consentrating on fems in big pots.
Heya JT. I'm curious if you've ever used the 5L air pots ? If so, how well did you do with em ? I've been having trouble finding anything larger and not even sure if I need larger doing autos. any feedback will be most appreciated..
I've mainly used 6L Airpots and usually get between 2 or 3 oz per plant but I'm moving over to 15L Airpots, grown a couple of big plants in the 15L so far and the less plants I grow the better.
