I used pk 13/14 and carload in my dwc without any issues, and I believe both are designed specifically for hydro. I quit doing dwc after my chaze (see link in signature) and chem city blues went tits up. I believe this happened because I was doing hydro and soil in the same tent and cross contaminated. I modeled all of my dwc grows after Seymour Buds Think Different and got 6 and 8 ounces off my first two plants using his model. He uses carbo load once he switches to flowering nutes. I've also Canadian Xpress' Superior Potash with good results as well. Hope this helps! And for my money, I wouldn't buy an LED without a secondary optic to help magnify and spread the light at the same time, like the blackstar chrome, Cidly Apollo, grow northern, hydrogrow, Bysen sp series, etc. I've ran all types and have gotten the best results consistently under the ones that have the secondary lens.

And as far as foam in the res, good bacteria saved my Sour Crack from certain death! It got the root rot, same as my Chaze and Chem City Blues, but I brewed up a batch of Heisenberg tea and it kept the ror from spreading anymore! I absolutely will not start another dwc grow without it! Heisenberg tea is key, I can't say enough good things about it! Really, it saved my bud. If you're not familiar it's basically a handful of earthworm castings or ancient earth and one tablespoon of molasses bubbled together in a 5 gallon bucket around 70-80 degrees for two days, or until it's got a nice foamy head on it. That foaminess shows that the microbes are alive, active and ready to fend off any bad bacteria. It's the bee's knees. Google has much more in depth guides about it, but that's the bare bones of it.

I'm sorry too, it was a blackstar but UFO's aren't really all that cool these days haha! I don't have a secondary lens on this one, it was one of Vipar's closeout's on Ebay. I see they switched to the ones you wrote about for their new models.

Carbo Load... I honestly have been so obsessed with just the GH lineup I haven't looked into other stuff... I will look into this! I can search it out but if you have the brand you use to grow those fantastic nugs with I would love to know!!!

You got it! It's basically a less thick, cleaned up version of molasses for hydro systems and I've noticed that it tends to accentuate any natural sweetness in the bud's flavor as well as help them swell. All the best to you! I love your reversal thread, btw!
