Hi A tip or two. Add a extra air stone. Unless it's really pumping a second one is always a good bet. Also I always cover the top to make sure no light penetrates to the rez. Looking very nice so far. And a warning. I found out plants get a lot bigger. LOL you didn't mention the size area you were growing in but I found out the hard way. But the rewards are worth it. Got 13+ oz off last one, pound the one before in a 2x4x5 tent. I've since got a taller tent lol. I'm pulling up a chair for the show

Does anyone recommend watering through the top, ever, or just leave it alone at this point ?

Some like to top water a little early on. But now with established roots there should be no reason to, that i know of anyway

I only top water till the roots come out bottom and then only if rockwool cube gets dry. But I like to make sure the roots stay damp in the clay pellets till they do. Any more I just raise the water level to the bottom of the pot and that keeps the pellets damp till the roots pop out then I lower it back down. Once they do you want the stem at the top to stay dryer to keep it from damping off. It can rot if too wet. If you have multiple roots in the water the top pellets are better totally dry.
