I forgot to mention that about a week ago I accidentally over LST'ed the main stem on the TS and fuckinnnnnnn broke it... accidentally topping the little lady x_x

One thing I will say tho about the TS, and I think I have mentioned before is that she is so damn tough! She survives anything and doesn't get stunted. She just keeps growing. She makes it seem like I am doing OK even tho I am terribad haha ;D

Some real questions this time...



So this plant is like... so leafy

Like really really leafyyyyyyy :\

I know most auto growers frown on pruning, but I'm interested in hearing what you guys think.

I think (fuckin HOPE) she is approaching flowering phase now, so I am toward the end of veg...


Should I defoliate the plant some? It really seems like there are so many fan leaves blocking the flowering sites it's crazy.

i have tried leaf tucking, but it's pretty pointless when she is this leafy...



Also... I am at day 46 on this lady and I don't see any real signs of flowering? I feel like I should have started to see those little pistil spheres forming by now... I am getting worried that I might have to switch her to 12/12 to get her to flower... maybe it's just all the abuse she took her first few weeks in coco...

I would not trim,
She look fine, she should start flowering anytime.
She is probably behind timewise because of the initial stress.

day 46? she not an auto. put her on 12/12 for awhile. see what happens. you should have pistils everywhere. most autos start on day 16-20

Thanks guys! I think I am going to wait at least a week or so before the 12/12 and see what happens, but I have a feeling I might end up that route x_x Once I flip to 12/12 I can't go back so I'm gonna hold out a bit longer.






I did recently aquire some more photo seeds... I even failed to germ some. If I somehow mixed them up that would be truly embarrassing, but I generally do a good job of labeling my rockwools.... the most recent photo I had died horribly (worst grower ever) because I kept her soggy for an eternity.

If I did accidentally germ a photo she could be a barney's farm critical kush or a kc brains mango lolllll..... lets hope not.

I personally wouldn't defoliate. Has your vertical growth stopped? Are you still feeding veg nutes? Sometimes switching to bloom nutes can help push it along.

I would give her another week or two for sure before making the decision to flip the lights on a different schedule; sometimes you get a pheno with a longer veg time than others. And other times you just straight up have a light/photo sensitive pheno that snuck it's way in.

I have an Afghan Kush Ryder that's about 80 days that started preflowering on 18/6 but never flowered out. Has been on 12/12 for about 10 days now and I'm finally starting to see some actual "flowering growth." Probably should have flipped it a bit sooner but it seems to be going at least!

Once you make the 12/12 flip; I don't think I would flip it back to anything else until it's finished so try to make sure that's what you want to do before doing it.

Keep us updated brother; maybe she'll surprise you in the next week!

Holy shit dude you seriously have a photo sensitive AKR?? I always thought of those as like cream of the crop type stuff when it came to genetics.

The vertical growth has... stoppedish? I am not sure actually. I think I will need to start measuring daily... ever since I topped her there is not really any dominant branches, the plant has filled in every day for sure, but I can't really say how much, it doesn't look like much upward though I don't think...

I might try switching to bloom nutes here after a week or so... I wouldn't mind if she got a littler bigger, but if she got say ... twice as big I would probably stroke out. There is just no way I wouldn't wreck a plant that big in that small a space LOL.. god damn myself I truly would ruin it.
