Hello and welcome to this new journal,

A while ago, Exotic Seed was kind enough to provide me with a couple of their genetics to try out. Unfortunately, I have a small growing space and too many seeds (which is not such a bad problem to have) and I always have to make difficult choices regarding the next strain to grow.

I've been seeing more and more of those cannabonsai and solo cup challenges with great results and I've been thinking about starting one as well. Maybe I can't fit two big plants at the same time in my tent but I am sure I can fit one tiny pot in a corner. So I decided to grow my new seed in this beautiful yogurt cup (capacity, 1 liter).

Not exactly a solo cup challenge but 1 kg yogurt pot challenge doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and I covered it with a little plastic cup to keep a higher level of humidity. It germinated 3 days later, right on time.

Love me some li’l grows. :pop: Don’t mind if I follow along, do you?
You're very welcome to do so
It'll be my first grow in a small container, can't wait to see how it goes.

I've seen other diaries with this strain, the colors are gorgeous

1 week has passed already! She seems healthy enough so far. Otherwise, nothing much to report.

My mini Black Haze is doing alright. I started to mistreat her with a bit of LST, let's see how she responds to that.

I gave the first feeding using HESI fertilizers. I used about 50 cl of water considering the size of the pot and the size of the plant.

It would be fair to say I haven't been treating her nicely. So far, she seems to be handling it reasonably well.

I don't know exactly where I'm going with that, just experimenting.

The Black Haze is handling the low-stress training pretty well and the flowering stage has started.

It's already starting to show very nice dark colors, true to its name.
