New Grower Actual Results from F1 Auto/photo crosses

Photo X Auto F1 will produce plants of which none will be Autoflowering but carry the gene.
So you will have to put em on 12/12 to get them to flower, they will be fast flowering on the F1.
F2 will be around 30% Autoflowering
F3 will be up around 80%
F4 will be 100%

Oh my god, what a beautiful plant you got there La Buena Hierba
AWESOME PICS! JUST AWESOME!

Excellent results from an F1 i must say.

well as we have seen results do tend to vary. even more confusing when they show sex and then continue vegging. interesting thing i did learn recently the trait is actually dominant and if you don't even breed the f2s that do auto you'll still get autos showing up and by f4 even if you are only breeding the ones that don't auto you'll still be fully auto.

showing sex then continuing to veg is far from confusing , any photo plant i grow eventually pre flowers/shows sex under 24 hour lighting , and a lot do it in the 35-45 day mark , even the pure sativas ive grown preflower/show sex and continue to veg until i flip em

as for autos speading up flowering , its not always the case , ive crossed photos with autos and the seed plants from them have taken longer to finish flowering then the original photo plants , so with that being said ,,,,,,

nothing is carved in stone at F1 , freeky deeky things can and do happen lol

peace

Ever once in awhile you find one of those really juicy threads that is so good you almost want to save it for later... If only you could stop reading :)

I could see this if it was a flower that took longer and was crossed to it a shorter flower time.

@bromhexine

How can it be dominant if it does not show up in F1's?

Because no matter what you do, if there's rudy in the genes you cant breed it out, it will take over completely...It's like the herpies!
