I just bought advanced nutrients 3 part system a while back. How often do you have to change out the water and such? I want to do DWC as I have a hard time of getting rid of my dirt... I'm guessing you can reuse the clay pebbles?

I change water every 2-3 weeks. add 1/4 strngth nutes as the plant drinks the water level down. wash pebbles, tubing, pumps, and everything else between grows. with more than one plant though, this will change to be more frequent. I have one plant in 15 gallons.

Is this nutrient burn? If it is not, then what are some other possibilities?

AN is a pH buffered nutrient. I use it and never check pH anymore. I change reservoirs each week, and yes the pebbles are reusable, be sure to wash them off between grows.

What things do you have to check on a daily basis?

how close is the light? what kind of light? Doesn't look like a burn to me, I like the advice of checking Ph, PPM daily. Especially when changing out water. It never reads correct for a day or so unless it's premixed and sitting for a day I saw similar tips when I had a Ph fluctuation. In hydro anyway, thats always the first thing. Ph is responsible for dozens of physiological and chemical process', and mineral availability.

The only thing I check on a daily basis is water level. When you only use 4 gallons and they drink over a gallon a day it's necessary.

Looks like burnt tips to me. That's the point in dwc where I back down to the previous weeks nutrient level.

Aaannnnd the winds have increased to cat 1 hurricane force of 95mph...people this wind is horrible...trees are littering the streets,semi trucks are on their sides on rhe highways...buckle down this isnt ending anytime soon..i see CO being declared a disaster area after this..... On a happy note the garden is looking good..
