yeah my mom is a school bus driver. i told her in a major disaster Im grabbing my GO BAG and coming with ,with pistol in holster concealed for good reason. I trust zero people truly unless its family. stupid decisions like that get people hurt and killed. I told her would try to prevent her from going depending how bad it is. I would be on edge the whole ride too LOL! i know all about hurricanes. I hated living in FL for that. although when I was young and stupid I did enjoy a few high rise hurricane parties LOL dumb,yeah I know LOL

I lived on the gulf side which is where wife grew up.she still wants to go back to panhandle area,id prolly chance the hurricanes,this wind has done this twice now over the last 2 months!! Couple that with a short growing season, freezing rain,sub zero temps and loads of wet snow,and i ask myself why o why do i stay here!! I dunno,this is home and all my family is here.take each day for all its worth,dont hang on to the bad,itll pass.. Hey we havent seen any tornados or major earthquakes so were not doing to bad

Naaahhh the schools "grounded" all bus service,they told the parwnts to come pick the kids up..cant have the buses overturning with kids on em,then theyd be responsible
 
Heres the norm on the news today,sumthing like 15 trucks have overturned,one casino shuttle and countless RV's..road closures everywhere ,but im supposed to be at work for another hour..pffftt

yeah that sux bro,really does. I lived in Sarasota for 10-12 years or so. been to Miami just after andrew back in the day. Wiped out Miami,well homestead to be exact. but I have had dealing with water spouts all that crazy stuff. invest in hurricane brackets if you have to rebuild or re enforce your roof bro. manditiry on all Hurricane homes in areas. maybe worth a look.
