yeah that sux bro,really does. I lived in Sarasota for 10-12 years or so. been to Miami just after andrew back in the day. Wiped out Miami,well homestead to be exact. but I have had dealing with water spouts all that crazy stuff. invest in hurricane brackets if you have to rebuild or re enforce your roof bro. manditiry on all Hurricane homes in areas. maybe worth a look.

H-clips have been mandatory here for a long time..a house wouldnt pass inspection without em,that dont mean people dont do it( and dont get inspections)..its cheap insurance..they are worth their weight in gold
