So Im back after a year or so of taking a break from cultivation. Had a lot of stuff going on, had a lot of equipment get blown out on me after a power surge, but I gotta say ac infinity are real champs with their warranties. Basically will send you new stuff no questions asked.

Grow space is a 3x3 ac tent, lit with their s44 board style light with a 6" filter and exhaust kit. Rain science 5 gallon bags, and FF Happy frog potting soil.

Current conditions in the tent is 71°F and around 65% RH.

Heres a pic of the set up with beans dropped Back left=Peyote Critical
Back right=Mimosa X Orange Punch

If anyone has any good suggestions for cleaning the screens on the intakes I'd love some suggestions. I'm thinking a lint roller will do the job well.

Anyone new to my grows, I had some kind of fungus or mold grow on my watermelon before made the buds smell like a sweaty foot. Hopefully this time around it turns out better.

Thanks for stopping by, planning on updating once a week unless issues pop up.

Mimosa and Watermelon break ground
Just a small update. 2 beans have broke ground since Saturday. The Watermelon Zkittles and the Mimosa x Orange Punch. The cotyledons don't look to happy. Hopefully they green up a bit over the next couple days. One on each is pretty yellow but my guess is the light was a little too intense. Raised it up about 8 inches keeping it at 20% power till I get the 3rd one up and some true leaves on all 3

End of week 1
So today marks a week since all 3 seeds broke ground.

Seems like all 3 are liking there environment and are chugging along at a decent pace. Fully watered each pot today with plain spring water, ph to 6.5, added a little yucca to alleviate any hydrophobia that may have started toward the bottom of the pots.

Current temp and humidity: 73°F and 59% rh.

Pics in order, Watermelon Zkittles, Mimosa x Orange Punch, then finally Peyote Critical.

End of week 2
So its a day early but tomorrow will be the end of the 2nd week.

So far everything is looking good. The Mimosa looks like its taking a little bit of wind damage but is growing ok otherwise.

All 3 are 2 nodes in and on their way to the 3rd.

Heres a light on pic of the whole tent, and individual lights off pics

End of week 3
So today marks the end of week 3

Plants seem to be doing good, new sets of leaves dont have any of the off colored spots so I think its outgrowing whatever that was.

Watered today, ph to 6.25, plain spring water. I think I need more yucca though. Pots still had a bit of water but barely took a gallon and started running out pretty heavily. Normally after 3-4 days of no water the pots will take almost 2 with pretty minimal runoff. Plants seem unbothered so its whatever

Watermelon Zkittles (pic looks yellowed than it is)

A little droopy and curly today, like I said I let the pots dry out a little bit and the air has been really dry with the cold snap we just had so hopefully the watering will bounce these girls back. Defolaiating a bit and topping the girls tomorrow, will be at 6 nodes on all

End of week 4
Its the end of another week in the tent, and I gotta say I've noticed how much training and pruning slows the plants down. I'm keeping this run much more trimmed back, and doing a lot more lst than I would normally do. And usually I'm flowering within the next 10 days. I think with these girls I may push it off a whole month more, depending. They are starting to take off a bit again, but I was in there doing a bit more lst so they are probably gonna slow down again. Not a big deal as long as they stay healthy.

The girls are looking pretty healthy over all. Trimmed off a few leaves today that we're sitting right on top eachother after I tied some more branches down. Looks like so far they are taking the food well. I'm not seeing any more tip burn, but the purpling stems are continuing to spred. Again not concerning just making a note to look back on.

End of week 5
Its a day early but its the end of week 5.

Today the girls are getting their first real feeding. Its still cut back but ppms are at about 535-580. So basically full feed. I know I shouldn't do it but I'm cutting a lot of the fox farm line out. Seems like they focus on like 60% salt based and 40% organic, so really all I'm using from their liquid line is Big Blooms, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Microbe Brew, Kelp Me Kelp You, and cal/mag if absolutely needed.

Today's mix
1.5 tsp Grow Big
3 tsp Big Bloom
1 tsp Microbe Brew
1 tsp KMKY
Ph to 6.25
Ppm≈550

Did a little bit of clean up, just been letting them grow for the most part the last week or so. Also did some training. Really trying to keep everything evenly spaced width and height wise.

There are some yellow splotches on the watermelon and the Mimosa but both those leaves grew in that way so Im not worried about it. Weird batch of plants. The Mimosa is think i did drip on which might be why, but the watermelon I know I didnt. Its only 1 leaf on each plant and they'll be coming off eventually.

The plan right now is to veg another week or 2, maybe even 3 if I do another veg feed. But I wanna flip to flower starting no later than June 1st. So hopefully I will be harvested by the end of August and smoking on some home grown by October.

Mulling over what I should line up next and I think I've decided to lean towards the sativas and grow Dutch Passion Strawberry Cough, and In House Genetics Slurricane #7 S1. Just one plant each. Getting a little ahead of myself but when I flip to flower I like to start thinking about what's next.

Preflowers
Woke up today knowing I was gonna have to water and sometime in the last few days all 3 girls started showing pre flowers on all the newest nodes. The watermelon zkittles is a little ahead of the curve here, every node has preflowers on it. Couldn't get the camera to focus on them though. So no pics.

Did pull some branches around a little bit and trimmed off a few leaves here and there but everything is steady as she goes.

End of week 6
Its the end of another week in the 3x3. Plants transpired the last of their water yesterday so it was time to water again. They got their last dose of veg feed today as well. It was kind of hot, tds meter said it came out at 650ppm but thats to be expected. Added sledgehammer to this feed. It was definitely needed, pots took way more water than they normally do. They did get pretty light this time though, pots were heavy leaving for work yesterday and light as air this morning.

Feed
Big Bloom: 4tsp/gallon
Grow Big: 2tsp/gallon
Boomerang: .5tsp/gallon
Microbe Brew: 1tsp/gallon
KMKY: .5tsp/gallon
Sledgehammer: 2tsp/gallon
Total ppm 650-680/gallon

Ive been noticing the Mimosa has been a little droopy and sluggish lately, all the tops are pretty pale but I dont really notice anything else wrong with it. Stems are all rigid and healthy. Im wondering if the split put stress on it, or maybe its not getting enough light, or maybe its not liking the constant stress from defoliation and lst, whatever it is she's been pretty much standing still for about a week now and it's starting to get concerning. Last time I grew Mimosa it seemed to be the least picky plant, now it's the MOST picky one. Seems like very slight changes that don't effect most plants are really effecting this one. Hoping this feed, and the next couple weeks she turns around. I dont wanna flower here till she's at least growing a bit.

As for the other 2, they are just enjoying life and cruising along like the 2 little champs they are. Gonna let all 3 grow for a bit and build up some leaves over the next 10-14days, then like I said I'll do the preflower defoliation, drop the net and watch my girls stretch out.

Just did a quick check over and it seems the mimosa may be in her own little micro climate. I changed where the clip on was blowing. Temp was only about 68 and the humidity was at 65% in the center of the plant. I think since I'm using a heater and I'm only piping it in through one intake screen it was keeping the 2 girls closest to that intake nice and warm, but was then getting sucked up to the exhaust, before the warm air made it around the whole tent. We'll see if she improves now. Also switch her with the watermelon zkittles in the tent to get her closest to the heat. Temps in the basement right now are 65. Got the heat off in the house.

Day 1 of flower
So I made the switch last night. Blacked out the basement windows, and turned the timer to 12/12 last night. Going into work early today but tomorrow morning I will be doing my first defoliation for flower and then in 3 weeks the last one. I'm gonna wait a week or so to drop my net, I wanna see how they start stretching, that's what I'm mainly using the net for anyway, and with almost a 7 week veg I feel like they are gonna blow up.

Figured I'd follow the advice of the fellow growers and flip em to see if that helps the mimosa perk up or get out of whatever rut she's in with that droopy new growth. Next watering I'll be making the flop to flowering nutes and ramping up the ppms from half to full over the next 2-4 weeks depending on how they respond to it. Same thing with lighting. Keeping it at the same power level for a week then increasing to 850-1000ppf by the end of week 2 or 3.

It'll be a real struggle for me to flower in the height of the most humid season. But hopefully the dehumidifier will do its job, starting June I think Im gonna keep it at 45% in the basement that seems to keep the rh in the mid 50s in the tent. But I guess we'll see when we get there.
