Well Technically they are, but customs, police etc. are still often unsure about what to do about things here as it's still early days. They could possibly consider the border to be a zone where the lines are blurred.
But I doubt over a package of a few seeds would they get that anal. I'm just rather skeptical about most things until something is proven rock solid.

Quick update before this thread gets locked, no seeds Friday I'll check Monday hopefully. I really hope customs didn't nab them, I'm sure they didn't but it's worrisome. Just wait and see this week.

You know..we are starting to see a pattern where seeds are getting Stopped going into Canada..and we've never had problems before..
So..if any Canadian growers get customs problems..please let us know....so we can gather info..

I've been having this nightmare lately where customs is splitting up our seeds and having their own internal cannabis competition. Faded and Mavadines are in the background smoking fatties and teaching them how to FIM and LST. It's just not right!

02/10/19 Germ....

So my Fast Critical from DinaFem got here on Friday and I started it immediately, even though @TheMongol said we should start at the next leg. Despite this being a photo I'm confident I can get her done by polling, even if I only veg her 2 weeks. I assume I can still join late with this girl?

I also started a DinaFem Critical+ Auto CBD on the 6th, so this should give a little side by side of auto vs photo with similar strains from the same breeder, hopefully in a similar time frame.

Definitely my favorite girl running right now. She keeps stretching and I keep tying her down. Only 1.5ft tall with all my training, but she's over 3ft wide. I'm done spreading her out, gonna prune her a bit and then let her finish, hopefully fast.

Almost 3 ft wide now and a perfect 18 inches from the soil.

Fast Critical at day 70 from seed, and day 40 of flower. Looks like she's going to finish in 11 weeks from seed, with only 7 weeks of flower for this fast beauty. Hard to question the value of quick finishing photo period genetics after growing this lovely girl in less time than most autos.

DinaFem Battle Final Update

My Fast Critical from DinaFem is finished today at exactly 11 weeks from seeds, and exactly 7 weeks of flower. Every bud is dense, frosty, and smelly, all the way down to what could have been popcorn without the LST. The branches started to sag, but the stems stayed strong and I didn't have to use a single stick for support. Trimming is gonna be a dream as I basically just have to cut off the buds. By far my favorite girl I grew for these competitions, a perfect 3ft circle!

The Dina's have landed in Canada ! Pulled the seeds out of a cold mail box on Thursday (-45). Gave her a few hours to warm up and into some paper towel/zip lock bag a Dinafem Cheese XXL went. After a little confusion as to if she could be in this comp or not, here she is 1 hour old on the 9th. So if any of you wanted to know if your seedlings are safe in the mail in cold temps, well yes they are. Day 1, hour 1. Solo cup PH'd water to 6.5with Vitamin B sups.

I didn't plant her deep enough so she still had her seed, I gave her a little helping hand with a toothpick. She didn't mind. She's just happy to be out of the cold under a autocob. Soil: Sunshine mix#4 blue label. Mixed in about 20ish% coco and a few handfuls of perlite. Light: Autocob Nutes: GH Flora Series, Optic foliar, big bud bloom booster, Calnesium, Jakes Vb1 (b1,b6 and b12 supplement), and Molasses. Climate: about 40-50% RH and 73-75 temps.

Transplanted her into her final home and gave her first feeding this week.

Week 4 update, day 15 Cheese XXL She is working on her 4th node now despite being a little bit vertically challenged, but I am expecting quite the show over the next few weeks with her growth.

She really needs to get her stretch on now. Some chilly temps during lights off might be holding her back maybe. 64 during lights out and 74 lights on. I'm feeding General hydroponics aggressive veg dosage @ 50%

Not a lot changed this week, there was almost no vertical growth again in what I am sure is her last week of "stretch" (*sigh). She's sitting pretty at 8 inches. I changed her feed to GH transition to bloom. I tied her down and stretched her out a little to make the most out of her in flower.

Not a lot happening since last update. Added AN big bud to the feed and that's about it.

Week 10 update, Cheese XXL day 59 @TheMongol

I think she may have a bit of a K lockout. Possibly too much Cal/mag build up in the soil combined with hard Water (260-300ppm). I'll give it a good flush next watering.

Week 11 update, Day 67 for the Cheese XXL @TheMongol

I cut out the Flora grow and halved the micro and upped the Bloom by 25%. Next watering I plan on starting her flush using AN flawless Finish. Doesn't totally make sense to me to add more chemicals when I am trying to flush out chemicals, but it seems to work. I'll be cutting her a little earlier than I would like, but her lease is up on the space she's taking in the tent. I've got a Blue Kush itching to push her out for leg 2 of the grow battle.
