What's happenin'?
I've been growing photoperiods for some time. Last fall a buddy gave me a seedling of a fem Blueberry Headband. Didn't know it was an auto. He didn't tell me. Once I figured things out I started doing some reading. Turned out bomb. The Alaskan summer is perfect for autos. So I procured some beans. Have done considerably more reading on the subject. Now I can turn off the flower chamber for 90 days every year. I'm pretty new to autos. I grow as organic as humanly possible. I have a large garden, a few greenhouses, I'm building a few more greenhouses this summer. I mix my own soils. Compost my old soils, dead vegetation, and raw vegetable scraps(this stuff ends up garden-till). Dunno what else to say. Hey Barbarian! Welcome! I'd like to keep up on how you do with an outdoor Alaska grow. Thrips are a killer here in Southwest AK, although not sure what part of our state your in. Glad you're here.

we are getting over run with you chaps.....but that is all good in my book. Some of our best member are from Alaska/Canada. You guys do seem to grow some great plants. Must be the climate, or is it summat else ?

long days, 24 hrs of
day light and 10+ hrs direct sun in my set-up. The atmosphere is thinner at the poles, like high elevations in more southern latitudes, here at 66.5 N I think this is my secret weapon: mega light intensity, stuff grows good
