Lighting KIND K3 DIY Retro Build

There is no way I would take that k5 apart. Easily sell it for 900 and buy all the parts you could ever need. I think for your space 8 of those clu1812 in place of the k5's would be amazing. 8 cobs 4 plants instead of 4 under that blurple.
Yeah I just looked at it more in depth. Way too complicated. The 1000 had ten drivers feeding into a mother board. From there they feed 4 panels of leds. Each panel has 3 feeds which are red, white, and blue leds. Yup no idea what the hell is going on in there. Mission aborted.

Looool. Surely the 760 watt panel would be more in depth than the k3 but never expected that. Happy I got to see inside of the panel though. When mine burnt out I almost went inside but didn't want to risk the return. Are you removing the LED clusters completely? What are you going to do with the hlg now?

Might go on this guy. This shit is all your fault lol. Going to do a side by side. See which one is better. Little close on the spread but I'm cool with it.

The benefits of the cobs is to gain efficiency and increase the spectrum. With the clusters your only doing about half of what it could be. @pop22 he would know more about the drivers. If they are 2 channels and both channels are the same voltage I would guess you could Double the amount of cobs and eliminate the epistars all together.
