Only problem you would have with magic beans s keeping them small,, the blk mrr cross is A1 I got another 4 going now , all magic stuff gets good reviews

I'm gonna say it, I like to deal in real opinions, why change the habit of a lifetime.

I'm not impressed by this strain, one bit.

Yeah it's sticky, but so is my ball bag after an hours bike ride

The grow has been fairly simple, but the final product......poor yield, very poor terps, it's more or less a mute plant, even when rubbed, it's not strong at all. It looks the part certainly, but thats it. I grew 4 plants, and even with cloning being an option, there was no keeper pheno. Now, I'm saying this without smoking any of the bud yet, but this will have to be some kryptonite, unicorn poo with a sprinkling of fairy dust herb, to drag it back from the 'never grow again' list.

If i'd have paid money for these seeds, I'd be really, really pissed, especially the prices they charge

That all 4 are so terp'-flat is rather disappointing... Knowing your grows and results well as I do now, I consider you to be a solid litmus test of genetics... Even so, I guess we have to see what others get in the end here! I have to see who else is reporting what, including Blue....
I surely have had some strains that were waaaay off their billing- ... 2 this season in fact, Dinafem Orange Juice and PAK... let me premise this by saying I bloody know each seed is a little gamble, no guarantee's on anything,... That said: OJ wasn't even remotely orangey (how the fuck do you wiff the bat on a fem'ed Tangie??), nice resin production, but not a very good bud:leaf either.... smoke is acceptable at least... PAK is a strike out, weak terps, also not remotely close to the much touted pineapple aroma and this pheno' didn't make the resin it should have either... This is also an old established strain of theirs, so I'm double pissed about the less-than-stellar results! Smoke is just OK, typical average generic quality hashplant type... Nice for pre-bed smoke, best I can say.... The extra seeds I will likely just toss out, unless somebody wants to roll the dice on them...
With LF at only F3, I can see why there may be some "further work" to be done on locking in the better quality pheno's,... but that's the best part of this testing, we can't draw solid conclusions just yet even from any one fine grower, and 4 plants... I'd hardly blame you though if you passed on trying them again, knowing my experience about the above two strains- ..... Unless the others are mostly "meh" about LF, I'll still give her a try outside next season.... So fingers crossed that cure brings some magic kypto'-sparklegoo to the harvest!

I'm not put off, at all infact. Next time Northgrow is on here in Dk, I'll have a word with Kees and tell him my findings, he's a top bloke, I'm sure he'll be up for some constructive criticism. I was just expecting a lot more, it's SSSC, the myth, I remember as a kid, looking in Weed World and Red Eye magazine, at all the sexy plants they had on their books, drooling like a hungry Homer Simpson.

One saving grace actually. What smell there is, is a long long time. I did the trim job, went to the pub for a few hours, didnt wash my hands, I swear, every time my hand wafted past my face, or anyone elses for that matter, they knew, I knew what the smell was. So they don't smell much, but really stink after a touch or 2. Weird.

I've started 2 Golden Tiger, 1 Congo, 1 acid dough from ripper seeds (lilly x congo x og kush) and ripper haze

I did mate, I made the blanks, I was waiting on the filter mesh. There was a muck up in the delivery from China, I didn't recieve it. And now with all the shit thats happened this year, I sort of put it on the back burner. I'll get moving again in the new year

In the interest of fairness, I've just started another one. And I've had a cheeky smoke, it's nice. Deep, deep indica spicey taste, almost hazey. I'll wait for a few weeks until I do a smoke report.

I think @Waira hit the nail, another generations breeding might be the ticket here

Kees had some fun stories about the "olde days and dark ages" from his past and Karel's too he shared at the BioTabs thread... I hope this group of testers/non-testers can offer them some good data to evaluate.... You're right, they sure do have a rep' to live up too! .... I didn't have the pleasure of the catalogs and magazines (save High Times, which was hotter material than Penthouse!) back in those days -... but I did save every seed I found if it came out of a good batch of bud.... my problem was no real safe place to grow! I tried, and either rippers or animals pissed the punch every time -

I think I get it mate, I recall having bud that was subtle in aroma, but oddly durable... like it had to be mashed and mixed and exposed to O2 to start smelling much.... I'm surprised the pub folken didn't ask what cologne you were wearing-

.... Post them bud shots Ribbz! I'm really happy to hear the bud is improving,... I wonder if some of these are really M33 dominant? This aroma thing smacks of more traditional hashplant types, but no way M33 is one of those-? Not as a harsh weather specialist strain,...

Ripper Seeds-- Interesting, Lilly is in the mix there, good to know! Our staff mate Ripper is a big fan of them, apparently.... Fine grower, and picky so I'll have to ask him if he's run Acid Dough yet,....

Sorry about the late reply, bloody leg that got broken last year is playing up, spent the last few weeks in and out of hospital.

A shot of an untrimmed nug, they've been in jars now for a couple of weeks, it's a nice smoke, heavy on the eyes, quite strong, really lethargic later on, all the typical indica markers.

My current grow, I haven't started a thread yet, I might start after my op, my head is not working properly at the moment

I'm like an angry wounded bear, confined to the sofa, running on 50% capacity.

The congo I started didn't make it, she came up, but then stopped, so she was sacrificed. In her place go 2 El Chapo. I have no info on these seeds, the vial just said El Chapo. So I have 2 El Chapo regs, Acid Dough, Ripper Haze, Golden Tiger, and another Lava freeze.

:drool: oh man, that LF bud is just sugar dipped! ... Definitely looks like KO material... At least you have very effective night med's! Has she shown to have some good efficacy for your pains? Honestly, with infections, I'm not sure how well THC will work because of the nature of the pain cause? I hope it's helpful...
