I’ve made fried chicken in an air fryer with total success. It’s just a tiny convection oven…. :pass:

Exactly we’ve done it more than once. We use our air fryer weekly our deeper fryer’s maybe get out yearly. That’s only when we do a fish fry or deep fry a turkey :headbang::pass:

I just use a cast iron pot as a deep fryer…. You can strain and store the lard for later use in a separate container.

My major gripe with air fryer’s is the size…. So I just use a convection oven instead. I want a whole sheet pan of wings… not four :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

There was more then 4 ours is decent size but not the size of the oven :doh::rofl::rofl::rofl:
