surgical spirit / 90.25% ethanol?
Just back from the chemist and they don't sell any alcohol wipes and had alcohol free ones,
I then spotted the surgical spirit and decided to get that instead of alcohol wipes,
Got micropose tape
And some rubber gloves

Will the surgical spirit be OK to use instead of alcohol for sterilization, it's 90.25% ethanol, industrial grade Metholated spirit
During inoculation I used 6% hydrogen peroxide for sterilizeing my work area.
Was hoping for alcohol cleaning stuff but metholated spirt was the next best thing I could think to get,

It's nearly time for the next stage of my Mycology Mission

DAY 25 Since inoculation

Daylight savings time really hurts the next day. You cant fool me, getting up at 4 vs 5 is a big diffeence. I can already feel that it's going to be an early night.

:yeahthat: Especially when you just started working a extra hour earlier too :coffee2:

Okay you organic geeks! BAS has come out and sourced a new killer product!:face::haha::haha::haha::haha:

I like the availability of calcium with this product and None the bad sides of other sources of calcium.
Throw in some aminos with the application........:headbang::headbang:

I think there's also good ethical and risk of heavy metals reasons for using this product too. Most bone meal comes from cattle and most cattle are not raised the way I raised them. Even Fishbone has downsides of heavy metals being possible.
Yeah, I'm gonna have to get some. Get the small size first. Off the top of my head at the moment I can't remember what product it was but I had a bit of clumping in the product way too soon I think it was their coconut water. I had to put it in a plastic bag. It still dissolved perfectly fine.

:pass:

Biochar has the ability of removing heavy metal contaminates.
