My hay like harvest from earlier this year
I am awaiting 3 sour stomper seeds from @mephisto (in the mail). They will be in solo cups in my shed under a cheap LED until they are big enough to put outside

Will be an outdoor grow in 3 gallon fabric pots. Will get light from roughly 6:30 to 8:30 (about 8 hours of direct overhead light)

Will grow in Fox Farms Coco Loco with the full line of my local organic shops nutes.

I am interested in how this grow goes, because my first try at an auto did not go well (SUPER stunted pineapple express, getting chopped tomorrow morning). My first try at a photo ended up hermied.

Depending on how big you want them before going outside, maybe start in something bigger than a solo cup.
Here are some Sour Stompers @ 10 days old in 5 1/2" square pots.

They will be transplanted outside within 3 weeks, they would have been super root bound in solo cups.
I found that autos can be very sensitive when going from indoors to outdoors, and to get the best harvest treat them well for the first 3-4 weeks!

I'd vote for larger than solo cups as well. The first few weeks of an autos life are vital to a good plant. Give them as little stress as possible, and don't chance restricting the roots before you can get them in their final home.

Maybe some 1 gal fabric bags? Then you can just plant the bag.

Makes sense. One is doing well, will pot up to my 3 gal fabric pot when i get home. The other one i think is fucked.

I go straight to 3 gallon pots (indoor)after the paper towel baggie start.
Personal thing, I need to see a tail before planting, but then straight to the final spot. Seems the more messing I do the more possibilities for a screwup.

A grape Walker kush in her final spot outdoors. 10 gallon fabric pot.

Outdoor here it gets pretty hot. I've had plants wilt in 5 gallon due to root temp... 10 is about the smallest I can risk till fall.

Oh ok, good to know. It gets really hot in KY. So a larger pot/more soil helps? I could see why that would be true. I hope i am fine in 3 gal. I have the pots sitting on bricks so the bottom can air prune, i hope that is okay.

Will probably do fine, I'm in the central valley of California. Shading the pots can help too. But we can see weeks above 105 with a very low rH bigger pots, bigger reserves of moisture.

I see. We get up to around 100, but usually high 80s low 90s. Our humidity is outrageous though. 45 to 85% average. That should be good for veg
