neem powder against insects and flyes

just bought some neem powder and was wondering if anybody tried this method.i have a few flyes and small buggs that i dont like.i know it is part of nature,since the soil is from the forrest and compost and all that.i just dont want these guys to attract other species of flyes and buggs.i did spray them with neem powder and water just now....and i know flyes and buggs dont like them,did anyone tried this?

Hi Toby,

Neem Powder isn't used very much by us small grower's. However Need Oil IS used for pests.

I know that farmers use the poweder in their crops.


Neem is also a great innocculant. Natural and organic it is good for your plants. I would mix the powder with your soil, find out how much to put in your soil at the Manufacturer's website.
