hi im a new guy here and im gonna set up a closet grow 4 magic beans 5gal 600watt led don't know if I sould use supersoil or coco what nutes and im on a budget here in Canada 300$ thanks guys

Welcome! I use coco with perlite and General Hydroponics nutes. Lots of quality mediums and nutes to choose from. This site offers a lot of nutrient guidelines and schedules as well in the medium threads.

Hello dude.....Welcome to AFN ....it's really up to you to choose one because each will lead you down a different path.....Main difference between the two for me would be with supersoil, you don't need to add nutrients or Ph your water.....so that is very easy for a new grower, but if you get a deficiency it, can be hard to diagnose sometimes because you dont know what's in the soil........using coco with nutes, you will learn more because coco is inert....which means it has absolutely no nutrient in and you have to add everything.....but more room for mistakes.......obviously these are only my personal opinions lol....but I hope they help.....happy growing:smiley1:

Welcome to AFN! You will quickly learn that the answers to all of your questions will be based on personal preference. I personally would not recommend coco to a 1st time grower. In my opinion, you should have a good grasp of deficiencies and how to fix them before running straight coco. Nutes are personal preference as well. Do you want salt based or organic based? Do you want to mix 5-8 different bottles, or just 2-4? It all depends on what you want your outcome to be. Since you're going to be running Magics beans, maybe hit him up and see if he has any breeders tips or nute recommendations. He's on site. @Magic is his handle. And he has a thread in the Independent Breeder forum.

ok guys I been doing reserch on the nutes and coco coir with perlite I think im gonna go with that now whats a good cheap brand perlite and coco and I think im gonna go with flora series thanks guys in advance

....my best advice to you dude would be to get the best your budget will allow and get sowing some seeds.......you can't beat learning by doing with this I have found......and read as much as you can.....looooooads of great info here, and if you get stuck dude....plenty of friendly people here too....happy growing :smiley1:
