Sounds insane, but no one ever sat me down at a lathe and taught me. Would have been more useful of a skill. Times change.

I just decided to give it a shot one day, lied on my resume and said I could read a blueprint. I went in and aced a math test and got hired lol. Next thing you know I'm a lead machinist. Pretty good feeling knowing I can go pretty much anywhere and easily get a good paying job.
