Ya, after the Bannana Purple grew so tall I told myself to put some tomatoe cage up to keep the branches from flopping over. I will have to set something up now before it's too late.

Rucu Cucu - Day 43
Starting to put off a nice sweet scent. Oh how i love me some of that sweet canna smell. Definitely drinking more now but I don't think she is going too get much taller from here. Good height and nice side branching for my grow style. Still early but we shall see. I gave her a decent amount of nuites as a midway boost but for the most part it's been water and GLB ammenments. I cant say enough about the quality these addatives help produce. I could most definitely run just those and the M3 super soil and get great results but I like to try and push just a little. We'll see how she reacts.

Smashing it! Crazy that she still needs another month. Smelling lovely and getting better every day. Frosting up and its starting to build on the bigger fan leaves too. I may do one more bit of defol and drop most of the big fan leaves before its too late. She looks healthy enough to make it to the finish line either way so why not push some mote light down to the buds.

I kind of like going away for a couple days, you see so much more progress. Still doing great. I lowered the amount of Brix because she faded hard when i upped her to 3ml per gal. She's responding well and slowed the fade down. I'll ramp back up in a couple weeks.

Doing her thing and fattening up. Nice sized buds but we always strive for more/better so I bumped up the GLB Accelerate for these last few feeds to help fatten up the buds. We're in the home stretch and just waiting on the trichomes.

Rucu Cucu - Day 74
Truly fading now. Upper fan leaves are starting to turn with some reds showing up and the buds visibly darkening as they ripen. I took the riser out from beneath the pot to lower the PPFD and try to stimulate a bit more of a defense response before harvest. I don't plan on giving her my customary dark period because I havent seen any definitive info about it and figure that it doesn't happen in nature so why stress about it.

Rucu Cucu - Day 83
Timber! Chop day for this beautiful plant. Pretty easy trim by plucking off the big fan leaves, snipping a few sugar leaves and dropping these super tight buds into brown bags to cure. It's getting hot and humid around here and my cure tent is at 73F/70%rh. Far from ideal but it's what I have to work with so I spread them out a little thinner innthe bags.

I'll post up final weigh ins and bud photos in a couple weeks.
