Say @Sawney_bean

On your seeded girls, how long do ya let them run for the seeds to mature?
On my Asian Haze project, since they were real sluts, I had tons of pollination. I wasn't really worried about fully optimizing the maturing of the seeds. I let them run until they were real ugly and I found seeds on top of the media.:hump::haha:

I think I am gonna do one thing different on my next seed making endeavor. Both times I've made seeds, I've left the male or the reversed plant in with the female For quite a long time. Hence my buds were absolutely packed with seeds, but there was also a lot of immature seeds. I now realize that is from keeping them in there for so long and pollinating over a time., which made for different maturing dates on the seeds. Just guessing I would say there was 60% mature and 40% immature. With as many seeds that were produced, It took quite a while to get it done.:face::haha::haha::haha::haha:
It would have took tons longer, if I hadn't found a pretty easy method of separating the immature seeds with static electricity in one of my plastic grow pans. It was one of my big ones for I think 20 gallon pots. It had a smooth bottom, except for very low radiating ridges from the center outwards. When I was shaking the pan, kinda like gold panning, I noticed some static electricity build up. That got me to thinking! So I took a Microfiber towel and rubbed in circling motions on the bottom of the pan. This was a fairly hard plastic pan, so it develops that electricity quite easily. With the immature seeds being lighter, they were affected more by the static electricity. I was able to tilt the tray slightly And shaking at the same time while rubbing, I could easily hold the immature seeds and let the mature seeds fall to the lowest part of the pan. I was just wetting my fingertip to pick up the immature seeds. It still took a long time, but I did make a bunch of damn seeds!:hump::hump::haha::haha:

Now, future seed making endeavors we'll only have the pollinators in the same tent for 24 hours. With the Asian Haze Project, to enhance the pollination, I opened the tent slightly How much stuck in a bamboo pole and then whacked the reversed plants. That Twenty20 STS made a FULL reversal and they made a TON of pollen! There was a CLOUD of pollen in the tent!:rofl::rofl: Also I will need to do better in my cleanup of the pollen. I think I'll give them another 24 hours and then do a good water wash down to kill the pollen. I think with the limited time exposure to the pollen, the seeds should be closer to maturity In relative to each other. This would help cut down on all the immature seeds that I had to go through.

I really don't ever see myself doing branch pollination. If I'm gonna make seeds, then it's gotta be whole plant! Since most of what I would be doing is just plain duplication, I'm not really worried about sharing the seeds and spreading some untested Genetics. I'll do just like I have started to do with results from Asian haze, I'll share. Well I can't really share all that much now with individuals, when it becomes legal here I will definitely be Johnny Cannabis Seed And spread it Wide and far !

Now there are some crosses that I really want to try and make, eventually. I think I want to do those in a bit more controlled setting. I think my best bet is to collect pollen and use it at a later date. If I could get input from you and/or @Antonio_DutchPassion on proper storage of the collected pollen.

Do you think what I have planned to limit the immature seeds would work?

Sorry about the long post! Blame it on the GMO live Rosin a friend gave me!:baked::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
