Indoor SAWNEY BEAN. Pssst! Over here.

Autoflower breeding 2025 New
Thing didn't go to plan .
The new gen4 of the white strain had multiple retards so I'm down to 4 . Best I can do is hope the 4 I have will produce what I need . New seedlings in are the ultimate white to see if I can keep the white going strong 💪
I will use a male original white on a ultimate white that has all the qualities of the white strain .

The rest are doing fine. 3 photoperiod black Afghani, 2 photo blue cheese northern lights
5 autoflower stardawg and diesel.

Making seeds of the black Afghani, blue cheese nl and stardawg to breed with.
A possible white diesel cross this run as I was hoping to make a new f1 with the two.

The Black Afghani produces a lot of anthocyanins, I presume. Anthocyanins have a lot of very good benefits.
When I was informed of an old classmates ordeal with cancer, I went down a few rabbit holes. I ended up making RSO For her To deal with the pain the last few weeks, Instead of being in a opiate induced coma..

One of those rabbit holes was looking an amazing Afghani that I saw from INDIAN LANDRACE EXCHANGE on IG. That got me to look at the benefits of anthocyanins. I thought a good cross would be one of these Black Afghanis with a known good CBD medicinal strain, like Dutch Passion Charlotte's Angel.

So now I have this cross with lots of anthocyanins. What process do I use to make the anthocyanins available? The only process that I know works is cobbing. It's the whole bud. It will be there. Just slice it up and let it steep in coffee or tea. It probably could be ground up and put in capsules. Vidamints is the only anthocyanin heavy plant I've grown. Under heavy UVA, she'll get black. Vidamints was also cobbed with great results.

The only two other processes where it could be possible are infusing in oil and alcohol extraction. I guess it just depends if anthocyanins are alcohol or fat soluble. While you can get purple water when doing an ice water hash extraction , You are only extracting the heads other trichomes' and I don't think they carry any anthocyanins. Dry ice would be the same as well as blasting with butane.

Anyway, it would be an interesting cross! LOL!

There are definitely high medical benefits from the Afghani style plants .
I to seek out the heavy narcotic feelings from these excellent strains. 👌
A new black Afghani kush cross is next on the agenda for me. A must have. 👌

Mmmmmmm.............Hash!:eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows:
Some real Frenchy Cannoli style temple balls!:woohoo:

When I cracked my first aged temple ball, I did not expect the color difference between the dark outer crust In what became of the interior while it was curing. When first cracked open, the interior was a dark tan is the best description I guess I can say.
I was not expecting the flavor blast!:what?:
That was from fresh froze dry ice shake. That was also that outdoor grown Asian Haze. She was a very good producer. You really can't say she was a 'washer' with dry ice, but that's what she would have been with ice water.

I really want to be able to do ice water extractions. I would kinda like to see what the various grades that I could separate would taste like when made into temple balls. Would there be a difference or would an All Mix be better for flavor and/or effect.
I think I'd be more productive with it. When I say more productive, I mean I get more of the end product that I want.

I do like dry ice shake for the simplicity . Dry ice shake is more rough on the product than ice water hash . That means plant material will get into the shake sooner then with ice water . That's why I shake for quality and the worked material ends up retaining quite a bit of medicine. I recover that medicine by drying the worked material, then decarbing and then infusing in oil. I'll run the same oil through three times with only adding fresh to make up for what was left in the plant . Multiple infusions does increase the potency and three runs seem to be the most productive . It makes for a very potent product , but due to the nature of the beast , it makes for a strong tasting product . It's not a bad taste if you like the taste of cannabis . Some people don't .

That way I get hash, some oil and I fully utilize the plant. I feed the leftovers of that to my worms! That's about fully utilizing that you're going to get!:eyebrows::eyebrows::eyebrows::cools:

A little long overdue updat for the peeps.
This photoperiod strain is looking good after it's repot in to soil. A few deficient leaves from previous veg but nothing to concern about now .
Plenty tops on each plant with a minimum of 12 main branches. 12/12 started yesterday.
I will remove the bottom old leaves and water with my usual formulex today. Result .

Ah shame to hear about that mate, but still lots of stuff going the right way right! Many new projects in the pipes, good luck with them! Looking forward to following you on this journey.
Healthy AF! :drool1:You really see the difference, I guess you are on the right track! Can't wait to see those frosty nugs appear again, she is such a beauty to look at, always!

Yeah cool project bro  I'm also currently working on a true Afghani/Pakistani project, something for next year, will be an old-school Afghan hash-plant, if you find the right ones, compact, greasy as fck and with that unmistakably pungent Afghan structure and aroma&taste you know hit the jackpot!:dancer:

Good luck with all! I'll be surely watching you:pop:

All the best from me bro
