Mephisto Genetics Tyrone Special (Green Crack Auto X Sour Crack)

Lookin real good!.......will be here for the ride!!!!.....:Sharing One:

Ms. Tyrone needed a watering today so I decided to check her soil's ph at the same time. The water in was ph'd at 7.0 and the runoff came out at 4.9. Is there something I can use to top feed to help bring the ph up? As always, I appreciate the help.

Cheers.

Thanks Trap! Is there any rule of thumb for how much to add per unit of soil? Do you think it'd be better to bring it up over one week's time or more gradually over a few weeks?

Sorry, only know the what, not the how....It's said to gently raise the ph...haven't tried it out yet. Sorry for the incomplete knowledge. I put it in my soil mixture before planting my beans, haven't used it as a corrective measure.

Someone who knows will chime in, I'm sure :)

IIRC, there really isn't a choice but for it to be gradual.

No apology necessary, I appreciate the input very much! Is there a specific brand or type of lime that you use? Could I pick it up at a Lowe's/Home Depot or do I need to find a more specialized store? Thanks again!

Mine was Espoma from Amazon...it's a very common gardening amendment and, yeah, I think the stuff at Lowe's or Home Depot is just fine...there is a type of lime that's "fast acting" that us auto growers need to stay away from but the name escapes me....it's way to powerful. Waira or AB probably know....I think if you just make sure it says "Gardening Lime" or "Dolomite Lime" you'll be GTG (Good to Go) :)

1 tbsp of DOLOMITE lime per gallon of soil. Top dress it and scratch it in with a fork. Might take a week to take hold, but next time, I would amend it into your mix BEFORE you plant your seed, it works faster that way.

Great! I should be able to pick some up tomorrow then! Thanks for the late night responses!
