1 tbsp of DOLOMITE lime per gallon of soil. Top dress it and scratch it in with a fork. Might take a week to take hold, but next time, I would amend it into your mix BEFORE you plant your seed, it works faster that way.

Yeah, I've learned my lesson and will definitely check my ph first before planting anything else. I heard that organics didn't need to be ph'd but I'd rather not take any chances. Thank you for providing the amount to use and time it may take to set in. Should I water once I place the dolomite lime on the surface even though I just watered within the past 24 hours, or should I wait until the soil dries out again before watering the lime in?

I can't second this strongly enough.....

I absolutely rely on mine No guess work what-so-ever. Plus it measures different levels of the soil...top, middle, bottom of the pot....tells you the pH of different moisture levels and tells you if you have nute build-up in the bottom of the pot from insufficient run-off.....The moisture meter is a nice bonus as it can confirm that you're dry at the very bottom.

I picked up some Espoma Lime today and am planning on top dressing this evening. Since I just watered her yesterday should I wait before watering the lime into the soil or should I go ahead and water it anyway? Thanks!

I don't know specifically, but I think you've got the right idea....top dress now then incorporate at next watering.

Are you sure about that? I thought I'd read that some people have transplanted while still young with no adverse effects. I'm pretty sure Mephisto transplant theirs into larger containers once they show sex as common practice, but I could be wrong on both accounts.

I'm simply basing it on the warnings of everyone that auto's don't like transplanting....especially unless done by a pro with tons of experience. Just my two cents.
I just don't think it's worth the risk for a pH level issue. If it were due to needing a larger pot or some other thing, I would say, "look into it and if you feel comfortable
with the attempt...go for it." But in this case, I think its something that can be solved without that action....

hey gbd i would wait until the soil drys out before you water again, you dont want to go overwatering her and adding to your problems bro, i also wouldnt transplant but thats just my opinion on that, i dont think there are many growers that transplant autos.
