Hey Guys,

:D I am not exactly a new grower, but I am a bad one, for real ;D

I have committed so many growing sins, there is no grow jesus big enough to die for them all hahaha...

This time around I will be ruining 3 plants, each in their own space.

The TS, and the AKR will be in smaller DWC setups with LED's, and the Northern Lights Blue Auto will be a full size 5 gal DWC using only CFL's (probably...).

The TS is a prime example of how bad I am at this.
Trans Siberian is a very hearty strain, but here is mine at day 30 (after 2 transplants in coco, finally into dwc, and numerous other issues, yeah they can be this small @ day 30):

She has like... I dunno 5 nodes? The first two node's leaves, are horribly mangled from underfeeding. I think signs of sex are everywhere, but not in a good way. I feel like she is about to try and flower that small haha... if she does I will have to throw her out x___x

Anyways.. Eventually I will move the AKR into a smaller space and give the NLB the entire larger cab, but here they are are both in the main cab, the AKR (right) at day 3, and the NLB (left) at day 0:

I just finished a photo version of delicious NLB and it was OK. I only got 1.5 ounces off it with 120+ watts of led lol x__x I originally wanted to do royal queen cheese auto in the main cabinet, but I drown the seedling <_< >_> >_> lolll wtfffff so I am stuck with the northern lights blue auto, which I will probably wreck x__x I have had better luck with royal queen, I felt like their NL auto was hardy.

ok bye

hmm..co co did u wash it? there are many factors that could hurt your grow ..writ down all the mistakes u know u have made and try not to repeat them...go back and look for a good grow in DWC with your strains and newts and see it that helps..we can get u on track! Im not a DWC guy but if all else fails go to soil ..still great results.

Hey man, thanks for the advice and encouragement!

I am trying DWC because I always overwater, or underwater. I am going to be measuring ppm carefully, checking my pump and my airstones...

I am however banking on these PH Perfect nutes to keep the PH in range, in a tiny 2 gal bucket lol o_o...

Thanks again!

I would try with some bag seed first ..just cuz i know id F it up and waste money lol..DWC seems Harder to get perfect to me..Ill be watching maybe u will show me LOL K.I.S.S...WHats new?

hey don't feel so bad.i was worse than you for about a year.dropping 1 seed at a time every month.was ready to pack it all in.runted little things time after time,i thought I was getting somewhere where one of my plants looked good X3 times taller than anything id grown before.with side branches, something I rarely saw.but after letting it go for 7 weeks it turned out to be neither male or female wtf !
after a lot of changes im now happy with my grows nearly 2 years on thanks to AFN
maybe try soil ?
chin up eh !

Hey and Welcome!
Ya, just don't think you have the sh**ty grower market cornered! I am right down the block working hard on it myself!!
I would at least start a journal if you haven't yet. That is what helps me to not repeat and to keep track of what I am doing. I was surprised how much that helped. Just keep going at it and ask ask ask anything you may need or want to know!!
Peace and Happy Growing.

In a two gallon bucket, you will need to be ready to swap your nutes every 3-4 days No Longer!
Using a five gallon bucket most users will need to swap out nutes every 7-10 days.... so be ready,
More volume = more buffer
Less volume = less buffer

I think sometimes newbies try to bite off more than they can chew. It is easy to get all caught up in the nice setups and great results of some of the more experienced growers here at AFN. These guys have been doing this for awhile and if you are not already at least somewhat educated in plant science, starting off with these systems almost always leads to dissatisfaction. Start off with a simple soil grow with some easy nutrients such as Algoflash. Get to know your system, how your plants react to your environment, what strains work best for you. Try to learn from every mistake and write down what you learned after each grow. When you are getting consistantly good results, then move up the ladder with equipment upgrades, new systems, etc. then start learning again.

Im not saying anybody is doing it wrong, this is just my general opinion.

I am in the same boat. I have been making a few mistakes myself but the good people here at AFN got your back. They have helped and encouraged me along the way in my grow. Best of luck! I am sending good karma your way
