Decided to join on here for more direct advice, tried autos in the past and wasn't great results so gave up but wanting to try again. Setup a new temp room for some autos to experiment on and out of curiosity

Also trying to see how far I can push/neglect etc as they kinda bore me

Anyway set them up into tiny pots, I had to go away for a few days and when I'd got back they'd already rooted so I decided against putting them into larger 15 liter pots and put them into old pepsi bottles to see how much is possible without root mass

Not got the exact date to hand but they are around 8 weeks in, it's dinafem XXL haze autos

I was always on the understanding that you couldn't top them but knowing it's possible then I'd maybe like autos a little more as I could control the height a bit easier then

high and welcome autos have come a long way in the last few years,day and night really to the 1st generations.
just like with photos some can take a lot of abuse while others need to be treated with a lil more care.
some good topping/fimming/lst threads,and some very good growers in small pots/places to.
have a good look around,if ya get stuck pop into live stoners.
keep er lit.

Just checked I'm on day 64 of 85 right now, doubt I'll get more than around half Oz off each if I'm lucky but as I said it was a experiment plus it was either pot them this way or bin them so I can't complain especially if I can get at least 2oz off the lot I'll be happy and it will keep me going in the winter

hey buddy welcome to afn. im sure once youve had a proper look around youl be pleasently surprised what autos can do these days. by the way theres 2L bottle grow offs now and again, youd do very well mate. most seem to find it rather difficult but they look happy as can be : ) if you need anything while your here just ask mate, everyones friendly and helpful. happy growing dude : )

Biggest problem I've found with autos is time scale, it says 85 days but never ends up being that and with these 2L bottles I don't see why it should take longer than the 85?
