I am a brand new grower, honestly at this stage I'm more of a wannabee. :toke:

Seeds are in transit and I'm getting my grow space together. It's been a very long time since I've imbibed and I've decided to grow my own. I'm starting with a Northern Lights auto fem for my first grow.

I've visited all the grow sites I could find and decided to make my home here. I really like what I see. Really good vibe here. I am both an avid gardener and reader. I'm really happy at this point about my love of reading since I've absorbed a lot of information lurking this site and others. I've discovered that I'm going to have to relearn some growing instincts, particularly when it comes to feeding and watering.

As a rank newbie I plan on growing a lot of varieties in order to get an idea of what I really like. With that in mind, I wonder if a few of you would share your favorite variety / varieties and why it's your favorite. Is it because of ease of growth, potency, aroma?... You get the idea. I'm looking for your all-round favorites. I am literally floored at the selection available to auto-flower growers. It would take me years to grow them all. :)

Also, if any of you have experience with Nirvana Northern Lights auto fem growing. I'd love to hear your experiences.

Anyway, just popped in to say hi before getting some work done on my grow-room today.

Cheers!

Hello and welcome aboard.Northern Lights is a good choice to start with because she is easy to grow and is pretty potent. I grew numerous plants before I really had a favorite and thats the fun thing. check out the smoke reports thread and you will get e good idea what other growers have said about different strains. My two favorites for top strength are Chemdogg auto from Mephisto and Night Queen from Dutch Passion.:welcome:

That's what I was hoping to hear! I will definitely follow your grow.

And yep. I'll start my journal as soon as the seeds pop.

I'm like a kid a Christmas waiting for the seeds to arrive.

that NL will get you there for sure.

I grew two Nirvana NL over the summer one indoors, one out, both did fairly good. Low odor with decent yields of around 1.5 oz a piece, it was my ladies fav for the summer harverst. I got three more going now in 2 gallon pots, doing better than my first one in a 5 gallon and mother earth.

The tallest on the right, actually looks like i chopped off her top with pic, shes around 40 inches tall, short one is around 28. Mars 600's, Pro mix, perlite and fox farm trio nutes. Very easy to grow plants. Good luck with yours!
