Lighting Need help deciding between viparspectra models for my 4x4 tent

Hi everyone, first post at afn, been lurking and learning for a while and i need help regarding my most important purchase to start growing since i already have everything set but this.

I want to buy a Viparspectra on Amazon (there's a site here in Argentina that buys from Amazon and delivers the product to your door here). I did some research on this but i couldn't find an accurate answer on which model best suits my needs. It's for a 4x4ft tent, and it's going to grow no more than 4 girls.

Should i go for 300w, 450w, 600w? PAR or Reflector series? I even thought about putting 2 450w together.

Thoughts anyone?

Hi there i use 2 x 450w reflectors in a 1.2x1.2m tent i think thats 4x4 ft ? Of course rhe more light the better bit it rwally depends om what results you are expecting

In my opinion 2 lights are always better than 1 as it means you can spread the light better.

Yea i thought about putting together 2x 300w or 450w. I'm expecting the best possible results, how were ur results with 2 450w?

Depends on how many plants you plan on growing at once and a few other factors.. When I did use Vipar in my 4x4, I had 2 600w for 4-6 plants.. and that covered 2-3 of them well. Since 1200 is as high as you can get, I'd go with that if you plan on running 4 or more at once.

so if i plan in growing no more than 4 plants, i need 2x 600w to provide all of the girls? Any difference between the Reflectos series and the PAR series? which would be better? thanks for the feedback so far.

Let me just say this, in my 5x5 2 runs ago I had a 1200w w Vipar a 900 w a par700, and 3 450w and it still made kinda Airy buds , there is hardly any red spectrum in any of the Vipar lights, I would get 2 go grow led for that 4x4 and call it a day you'll easily pull a pound a run if you have 2 gogrow led in there and they are from amazin

That make's me hesitate whether should i buy 2 of those or just one platinum led, the p300. thing is i cant buy 2 of this, and i can't buy a higher wattage one neither. Should i go for 2 viparspectra or for the platinum led p300? 4x4 tent, no more than 4 plants.

I grow no more than two plants under led lights. Even two lesser wattage with better coverage would be better than one large wattage light.

I got the par600 and put some cobs on it. It has 3 switches, which I liked. There's 6 drivers in there that'll run 1818s at 36w. Then I used the money from that grow to upgrade to a proper frame/heatsink/driver. The conversion was very easy. Switching to cobs was absolutely the best grow related decision I've made
