I would do it if I could use more than one cup. For my system I need 3 cups, but all the roots stay in one.

Im considering the pain in the ass of coco and watering 5x a day if i have to lol.

I have been playing with this, ive been putting a solo cup underneath with no drainage to help retain some moisture. Still dries out but not as fast. Even less if I add clay pebbles to the second cup

the first cup held the rock wool cube and plant and had tons of holes in it to flow water in and out all up and down it.

It sat in a second cup with just one hole at the bottom. so it would fill and slowly drain

I ran a couple skewers through it in and x shape to sit it at the correct water level, and the whole assembly sat in the third cup with no holes.

I ran two 1/4 inch water lines into the second cup on for 10 min off for 10 min.
