1 tbsp of DOLOMITE lime per gallon of soil. Top dress it and scratch it in with a fork. Might take a week to take hold, but next time, I would amend it into your mix BEFORE you plant your seed, it works faster that way.
Yeah, I've learned my lesson and will definitely check my ph first before planting anything else. I heard that organics didn't need to be ph'd but I'd rather not take any chances. Thank you for providing the amount to use and time it may take to set in. Should I water once I place the dolomite lime on the surface even though I just watered within the past 24 hours, or should I wait until the soil dries out again before watering the lime in?

Also, If you are going to go with soil/soilless mediums, might want to invest in an Accurate 8 soil probe. You will never have to guess where your PH is at again!! Here is a link if your interested.
